I got 3 shot after getting minor scratch on my finger . Then i got 2 shot on day 0 and day 3 because of another minor scratch after more than 6 months from the previous shot. Both of these scratches were from non vaccinated dogs which are still healthy. After 5 weeks from day 0 and day 3 shot i got scratched again by vaccinated dog
Do i need to get another vaccine this time??

Rabies is survivable if we can figure out how to stop the brain from swelling. The virus grows in the brain, then almost all of it gets moved to the mucus glands. The immune system is able to destroy the infection by that stage but the swelling is what usually kills us. A decompressive craniectomy increases the chances of survival.

An anti-rabies mutation could actually make a lotta sense though. Survival of the fittest an all that. The more of em that can survive gettin rabies, the longer those genes stay in their gene pool, the more they spread throughout the community over time
