Why It's FINALLY Sabrina Carpenter's Turn At Pop Girl Stardom

It’s so sad because she’s been popping off since 2015. I’ve been listening to her since 2018 and now people are finally paying attention to her for songs that aren’t even her best.

Sabrina has been slept on her four other albums was just felt forced and Sabrina but emotion to her voice on those four albums that’s what made it catchy and good but Sabrina was trying to get out of Hollywood records and emails I can’t send truely felt like her first album she wanted to do and her upcoming album short n sweet is like a second album in my opinion and I’m so happy she is popular and known I’m not trying to controversy about her other four albums and how they don’t feel like albums she wanted to do but short n sweet is definitely a 100 percent listen (no hate on other four albums they are catchy and good)

I mean, she put out nonsense and espresso. these two alone deserve at least record of the summer.

As someone who grew up with Sabrina from Girl Meets World, when Disney channel use to show music videos still(idk if they still do this) Im not ashamed to say I’ve been listening to her since the beginning and have listened to all her albums. Im happy she’s finally getting the recognition she deserves! The DL era was hard for her and honestly I’ve never resonated with Olivia or Badzardvark as a whole, shes still talented and neither one of them did anything wrong. So Sabrinas hate was so unwarranted. But they’re both talented and are both doing great in their respective careers. Even if In my book its Sabrina>Olivia for me. But All her music is gold and idc what nobody says! Because you just can’t blame a girl for trying!

the crazy thing is, unlike chappell (whom i discovered at the beginning of june and took literally less than a day to fall in love with), i have actually been listening to sabrina for almost her entire career - i memorised every line of on purpose back in 2016-2017, and i've been around for every one of her albums since then. especially singular and emails i can't send, both of which i remember going "oh wow, sabrina's written a new album? that's cool, i'll try and get round to listening to this in the next few days". it's super odd to think she's gone from a disney star i listen to occasionally that most of my friends haven't heard of to literally the 7th largest spotify following in the world without me really noticing!

What a shady practice. I can’t stand these labels taking advantage of children. They did that to Jojo and she spent years trying to get out of a 7 album deal while they refused to release any of her music. She eventually found a loophole in the contract that in NYC minors can only be obligated to a 5 year contract, doesn’t matter the albums. She spent an extra like 5 years in that label that she didn’t even need to be.

I must have listened to Please Please Please 5 times a day since it came out at least 😵‍💫😂 I love it so much I will never get sick of it 😂

I’m stillll mad at how singular act 2 was handled 😭 if I recall correctly all the best songs were singles before the albums release like in my bed, pushing 20 etc and then there were no singles after the album came out so after all that excitement and build up for it the label gave up on the album promo :((( personally out of her 5 albums, singular act 1 is stilll my fave and completely skipless, I hope S&S can dethrone it lol

when I first hear her can't blame a girl from trying , I knew that she can be a main pop girlie someday.

I know I'm not a fan of Sabrina or her music (I have different music tastes) but I already knew Sabrina back in her Disney Channel days 10 years ago (Girl Meets World) and honestly I don't think she should've signed with Hollywood Records in the first place cuz they are soo lacking of the promos and even the lack of giving singers creative freedom even of wanting to cuss out in the songs. 

Sabrina would've been open act of Taylor's Reputation Tour instead of Eras Tour in my opinion cuz Sabrina was still under Hollywood Records at that time and would've sung some songs from "Evolution" and "Almost Love" leading up to releasing Singular Act 1 in 2018.

And as for her in Island Records I wished she would be giving an opportunity of able to own her music masters cuz her songs are copyrighted to Island Records NOT " (c) Sabrina Carpenter, under exclusive license to Island Records ". 

Overall it's just me ranting in my opinion of how Sabrina's career would've been during 10 years if you know what I mean 😐, she has something, it's just I wished the opportunities for Sabrina would've been better, including of wanting Sabrina owning the music masters, but I'm happy she finally caught up this year now and wish her the best 🙂🙂

Disney girl with a wealthy "in the biz" family becomes a pop princess. Not that impressive to me. Has she ever worked a regular job in her life? How much talent goes wasted because of a lack of money, nepotism and location?

Sabrina should be the biggest of summer, year, and on and on. She’s that good. I know that she’s been actually in the business for a longtime. But, something Erie hits my stomach.. I hope she stays safe or nothing destruct comes out of all of this success of life. Lord God, let her stay with us for a full life.

I love her song thumbs. And her voice is so strong and powerful that I feel like they made her change her voice, just like what they did to Britney. Cause her voice is so different now compared to that song

Disney needs to rebuild thier Music Dept. from the Top Down. They sign all these girls to a contract then wont let em put out any music. Its like they throw away 100s of millions of dollars to keep girls down on the farm. Literally 100s of millions that Disney said "No" to for no good reason. Also her perfume receiving great reviews from the beauty and fragrances community helped her a lot. I got curious to listen to her because I bought her perfume and loved it and thought let’s see what the girl of my perfume sings which made love espresso.

I think many women like me loved her perfume sweet tooth first then we listened to her music which is great too.

I remember when she was the voice of Princess Vivian in the Disney Junior Series Sofia The First, my little sister use to watch that show when she was little. So i've seen Sabrina's growth for a long time.

I wouldn't say overdue 10 years - her album from 10 years ago didn't deserve main pop girl stardom. I would say that this is the rightfully deserved time for her to be a pop girl since she's developed her own distinctive image and online personality
