And the ash pitted the windscreen, correct?.............Z
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьPhenomenal video and what a fantastic flight crew!
ОтветитьThat pilot has them balls of steel that's for sure
ОтветитьMf missed like half the contents.. why windshiels blurry? Explain st elmos bs, explain how the volcanic ash shut down the engines... hellooo? This amateur hour breh?
ОтветитьWhat game is this?
Ответитьwow cool that you have the pilot. Cudos for him!
ОтветитьBravo! Excellent performance of the crew on this flight deck. Another great round of applause to GreenDotAviation for another superb video vlog. I just recently become a subscriber. Thank you for the excellent story telling.
ОтветитьThank you, great story and, even better ending.
ОтветитьIt seems like if they wouldn’t have dropped to 20k for the FO they would have cleared the mnt
ОтветитьI would recommend all three for a George Medal.
ОтветитьThis is the 2nd interview I’ve seen an aviation page do with him. He seems like a really cool guy, you should feel honored that he spent some of his afternoon speaking to you about this event, I know I do!
ОтветитьANOTHER EXCELLENT VIDEO BY GREEN DOT AVIATION
ОтветитьCOMMERCIAL AIRPLANES NEED MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE IN THE COCKPIT. SO MANY STORIES WHEN OFFICER IS READING THE CHECKLIST BOOK NO ONE IS PAYING ATTENTION TO THE PLANE CONTROLS. ONE PERSON DRIVES A TRUCK. SURELY MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE NEEDED IN A PLANE WITH HUNDREDS OF LIVES
Ответить45yrsin the aviation I truly respect these guys. It's not easy to find crew like this. Cheers and thanks
ОтветитьWow. Fireworks outside the aircraft, smoke inside, all 4 engines failed, gliding back down to FL120, relighting 3 out of 4 engines, Co pilot struck with hypoxia, fogged up windshield and a perfect touchdown. Looks like the crew saw their entire careers, simulations, crisis management, CRM etc. all in this one single flight. But it's hats off to the amazing level of knowledge the captain had not only of his airplane but of aerodynamics as well and kudos to how tactfully the captain and crew managed all the situations so well despite being under pressure of being so close to total disaster. Amazing is the word. Never heard of this incident. Oh and yes, your narration was fantastic. The chronology and voice inflections that you used kept me captivated throughout the 36mins of the story. Subbed to the channel.
Ответить"Click Bait" title. Airplanes that lose all of their engines don't "Freefall". They can glide, a controlled decent.
ОтветитьAmazing well done.couldnt think of anything worse especialy at night.who put them mountains there.😂no seriously well done
Ответитьthis was well put together
ОтветитьCaptain Moody wanted a medal but he got the next best thing: his story told to millions.
ОтветитьBut what caused the windsheilds to be blurry?
ОтветитьWhen the craft you’re flying in succumbs to the perils of the warp but the Navigators on board are god-tier level
ОтветитьThese videos are incredible. The tension is palpable. I'm not sure how you are doing this over and over. You are very talented sir, well done.
ОтветитьMay be a dumb question but how exactly does vulcanic ash cause failure of an engine? Arent engines supposed to withstand a specific amount of matter intake (birds, particulate matter, smoke ...) or give a warning when heating up to much?
ОтветитьPERTH MENTIONED!!
ОтветитьI’m not verklempt with a tear in my eye and a knot in my throat or anything!! 🤯🥴😬🫣🫨😳😮💨🥹
ОтветитьGuys flight number show that how many time that flight happened? For example flight 541. In here 541 show that that plane flight from this city to that city 541 time? Or this is that plane’s 541th flight. Locations is not important?
ОтветитьGive these pioneers of the skies their bloody medal!
ОтветитьAs a Brit This shows how smart are This shows how smart are people are
Ответить"In the english language there's no such word as can't". He's a fucking hero
ОтветитьThe captain seems like a really cool guy.
ОтветитьMany years ago I visited RR at Derby (at the time I was working at one of the RR sites in the north east) and got the obligatory tour of the engine assembly shop. At one point I was shown an engine on display - it was one of the engines from a plane that had an all-engine failure after flying through volcanic ash and had been the first one to restart, so I'm guessing it was engine 4 from this plane. Spooky that I should find this video all these years later!
Ответить"The world largest glider."
ОтветитьHow could the pilots not recognize the signs of volcanic ash, I'm baffled
ОтветитьThis is one of my favorite aviation stories. Well told in this rendition.
ОтветитьA good Leader also demands recognition of his explemary crew. I love the fact that this wonderful crew made this a surviveable incident. There is no single Hero when a team does whatever they can to avoid disaster. Teamwork always equals success, unless the situation is that success is not possible. It's the measure of being a strong human
ОтветитьGod saw this plane and said: Bye bye
ОтветитьAt the end of the day the captain was upset that his coworkers didn't get recognized too he is on my list of people who actually care for there coworkers
ОтветитьThe highest of top marks to the crew of this 747. Balls of steel 👌 👍
ОтветитьI'm obviously quite late to this discussion but I wanted to comment that this was one of the best accident discussions I've ever heard! It was fantastic to have the discussion between the pilot and content creator, well done!
ОтветитьLucky
ОтветитьYour voice is great! I sooo enjoy all the wordplay❤
ОтветитьWhen you travel across an ocean...and accidentally slip into warp speed 9.1
ОтветитьHow does this have nearly a MILLION views but 22 LIKES?! It deserves atleast 500k likes.
ОтветитьCompetent white men, in the days before diversity hires.
ОтветитьBest Aviation Presentation I have ever watch. Great Job
