In the comics, Rick Flag has a son named Rick Flag III. If Peacemaker ever meets his son, this would be very interesting.

Every one gave the first suicide squad a lot of shit I saw it today and I loved it so of course I was going to watch the second one and not going to lie almost turned it off when all the new members popped up that Wiesel guy uuuffff I was so close to taking it off I’m glad I didn’t my girlfriend actually left the room and never came back but I stuck to it and daaaammnn I loved this movie so much

I kinda always thought Cena was only gonna be good at Rom Coms it Bro Comedy’s but this movie and Peacemaker the show proved this man can act!!!

Ppl hated Peacemaker for this but wtf was he supposed to do let Flag kill him??? Loved this film and the Peacemaker Show too. It’s up there with The Boy’s and Invisible as my favorite shows from the genre

Rick Flag went out similar to Rorschach in Watchmen, in true hero fashion while refusing to compromise his morals. He was already my favorite character but this was a great way to go.

I couldn't believe this. I loved Flag's character and I was certain they wouldn't kill him off.

i still feel that the fight should have ended with Peacemaker about to finish off Rick, only for Katana to suddenly appear out of nowhere and stab PM. with Rick going "That's Katana, she's got my back."

In the original run of Suicide Squad, Rick Flagg fought Batman to a tie...they nearly killed each other. It's why he leads these missions and Waller talent scouted him. She found a Batman analog who does what he's been told, already working for the government, in the military. Waller is the real deal.

The DCEU as a whole was undeniably an absolute fiasco since its start. But THIS is one of the greatest superhero movies ever made. The DCU couldn't be on better hands.

This scene is honestly pretty instrumental for Chris' redemption arc. Also respect to James Gunn for actually allowing his characters to die unexpectedly instead of either keeping them alive in a very unrealistic way or just bringing them back later (looking at you, F&F).
