Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty - Somewhat Damaged (Kill So Mi) Mission Walkthrough [Update 2.0]

This ending was probably my favourite from the expansion. Seeing So Mi's past in glimpses throughout this mission, made you really understand her journey to this point. After V hugs So Mi she asks you to help her one last time, so when So Mi asks V to kill her, it only made sense to honour it as a final request. A death here was better than the blackwall consuming her or a "life" back with the NUSA or going to the moon and potentially ending up like V in "Things Done Changed". (Who even knows if she gets to the moon alive)

I also thought the ending of V putting a bullet in his skull was the best of the endings in the base game,so maybe I'm just a doomer when it comes to endings :D They're bitter sweet endings & that's what I love about the Cyberpunk genre.

CDPR really knocked it out of the park with the story & having multiple paths & endings to achieve in this expasion. I'm curious for more thoughts/discussion on endings.

This mission is garbage. Absolute garbage.

Running around in the dark with no guidance on where to go. Can't get caught because it's instant death.

Ive actually quit put of the game and have refused to return to it. Ill have to reload a save from 3 hours before and side with songbird instead so i dont get this garbage mission

One of the best missions in the game, carried some serious Alien: Isolation vibe.
Full Solo build, cybered to my teeth, slingin' with the Malorian Arms and Mantis Blades. I was unstoppable, but I had to hide from the equivalent of a Xenomorph.
The horror vibe with a rogue AI (or AIs) and a half-coherent netrunner hunting you down, mixed with So Mi's occasional flashbacks, were all a great touch.
Best ending to an already superb expansion.

This mission doesn’t make sense, plot wise

V should not be overpowered by a friggin spider when we already killed one of them earlier in the story

That makes zero sense to me

When I heard the only way to actually see the Cynosure bunker was to do this ending I had to go back. Def need more locations like the cynosure bunker

Worst mission in the game. Insane that they locked such cool story behind such trash gameplay.

Geez watching this is giving me a heart-attack. Don't think I could ever play this mission....

I literally sweat thru my shirt playing this, the cerberus bot is truly the menace of the game. Really lame that they don't actually give you a worthwhile ending or ability to actually take this spider bot out, Just a lame crawling out from underneath it. Wish it was more rewarding for the complete clothing change it required and wiping my controller down from the hand sweats. 😂 all in all what a remarkable game. Bravo CDPR. I will not forgive you lmao. Cant wait to play it again. 😅

This mission was right up my alley, god I love horror

I'm right at the end and can't get out of crouch mode even though it shows i'm standing. It's infuriating. Can't select the console in the big globe or anything. Can't jump. I've been restarting over and over and going back a few saves. I'f I restart the mission I'll be pissed cause it's a scary Fng mission but if I do and the glitch comes back I'm gonna go nuts.

Robot always automatically gets me ugh I was even hiding like the video

tried this way after 3 runs of siding with So Mi. got to the part where I have to either spare or kill her... and loaded back to the Firestarter and sided with her again. sorry Reedy, Imma saving this woman

Can you overload the firewall device without a cyberdeck I’m using a sandy build and not a netrunner

This mission is so fucking trash. If I wanted to play Alien Isolation I would simply do so.

The fate worse than death. If they get her alive then they’ll keep her tied to a chair in a single lit room. Always monitored with nowhere to run.
Questioning her and continue using her until she’s dead or worse barely alive and have her continue doing the fia’s work. They’re not gonna help in the sense that they’ll cure her, not after causing that much trouble for them.

I could never betray So Mi, for me, she went to the moon and got the cure. Of course, this means that Reed had to die and that was sad, but not heartbreaking.

I somewhat knew, always, that So Mi was lying, that there's only one neural matrix thingy, but still... I think she deserved her second chance on the moon.
