This is forever the best hoist it f the cup I’ll ever see. The commitment ovi had for that cup, an still with the capitals still to this day is mesmerizing. I was just a young boy when he first came into the nhl, an if he never won the cup in what 2017 or 2018, I wouldn’t have been able to be in the same room as the cup when one capital player brought it to Sudbury Ontario. Still brings me goosebumps, an feels like it was just last year.

As a rangers fan, I was so happy seeing ovechkin finally lift the cup. Years of getting knocked out of the playoffs especially by the rangers, it brought a tear to my eye. Definitely deserved. Hopefully the rangers can finally win one this year now.
