I forgot how bad non-amoled screens used to look back in the early days of smartphones. Even cheap IPS screens put this thing to shame.

Had mine for 3 years and it's still awesome 😀 Not a single problem with it. They made it to good for the price haha

I always wanted one. I got one for cheap on eBay brand-new in a box. Once it's done updating itself for a few hours it's a decent phone with a very minimalistic feeling. I use my V20 as a daily driver. My V20 is light years ahead of it as the Nexus 5 as it's based on the G2.

What is your definition of bad battery? My phone has terrible battery so it goes from 100% to 0 or like 3% from let's say 6am-4pm, and I don't even have to be on it the whole time. So. Compared to my battery, how it the Nexus' 5 battery? I'm curious because I might get it.

it the N5 a good phone for the next couple of years? I hear some of the common problems like a huge cut in battery life etc

Never understood these soft-touch rubberized coating - the only thing keeping me from purchasing this phone. Have had half dozen gadgets with these rubberized finishes (i.e. Samsung Instinct, Nook HD, LG Optimus, etc) and it looks like skin-cancer after a couple months of use.

I still don't understand why companies manufacture such small phones. For me the minimum size of a mobile phone should be (at least) 2 meters by 1 meter. And the thickness should be at least 10 cm.
