Great explanation and demonstration! Thanks Zach
ОтветитьGreat video! I also use that device exactly as you do but I really recommend trying out some modeled instruments with it. If you think it is expressive with sample libraries wait till you use it with audio modeling‘s wind instruments or other similar libraries!
ОтветитьVery new to the music creation world, really cool way of doing it :D
ОтветитьLooooove my breath controller. As a brass player it is the most logical way for me to program modulation. And it helps hide some of my terrible keyboard skills!
ОтветитьHey a I had a quick question for you. I got a Mac Mini recently and want to start to record different songs BUT can’t find software that records the internal audio where you can also hear it. My question is what screen recording software do you use?
ОтветитьHave you tried a Yamaha VL synth?
ОтветитьWow!! Didn’t know this type of midi controller existed. Music and technology….Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьYou tried the swam products ? It’s really insanely good 😅
ОтветитьGr8 video ❤ How are you connecting to midi etc. ?
ОтветитьDo i need a Midi Controller Keyboard with "Midi In" to use a Breath Controller?
ОтветитьThis is a super sweet tool! Definitely considering adding this to my arsenal. Btw - I adore my DT 990's. Most comfortable and transparent headphones I've ever had.
ОтветитьHot 🤤 nerd 🤓❤️😹🤯
Ответитьi need me one of those lol
ОтветитьYour channel is a pure treasure! Great job man!
ОтветитьLove the Benedictus motif!
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьCen i connect breath controller to korg pa 300 please
ОтветитьI used the Yamaha one a lot back in the DX7 days. You and Matias have got me wanting to get that one.
Ответитьthank you for telling composers to actually play music. without getting to[o] into it. i wrote a thesis studying the performance practice of pianists in the late 19th C. back then improvisation was crucial to how they introduced new repertoire. and what i came across is that it was virtually unheard of (unintended pun) to see a composer who didn't play something. it's crazy to me to see now how many composers don't even play an instrument.
ОтветитьHi Zach. Really appreciate this demo. I've been watching many video's about the bbc1. I am wondering why you chose the bbc1 instead of the bbc2 which adds nod and tilt? Unless you had bought that before the bbc2 was released. In that case which one would you recommend. I'm learning to compose for movie, media, and video games.
Ответитьsadly its impossible to find breath controllers to buy
ОтветитьThank you 😊
ОтветитьVery cool, will be getting this
Ответитьgreat stuff... so interesting and enjoyable... I have learned many things already cause of your teaching... Thanks.
ОтветитьToday it arrived, but I still don't know how to connect it to my Tyros 3. I think it has to go via a PC and a specialized App? Any help on that would be greatly appreciated, Joh from Australia
ОтветитьIts cool but its pretty easy to live without .
ОтветитьLooking at this as a non-musician (well, out of practice I suppose) , this looks like a neat tool to set up macros with. Like having a whistle to command your computer.
ОтветитьI've had this exact same breath controller for a year now and have never been able to get it to connect to my DAW. Instructions on getting the DAW to recognize it and connect are non-existent online. So now it just hangs unused on a hook on my desk.
ОтветитьThank you for your video! every needed! I woudl ike to ask you if can be used as simple as connect it directly with the piano that has usb? or it requires use of computer and other sofware? I would like to try it with a casio, but not sure if it is allow me that. Thank you in advanced.
ОтветитьHi Zach, great video on the breath controller. I struggle with the modwheel on my keyboard, short throw and always a jerky looking pattern to fix, so looking for another option. Question though, do you ever use expression CC7 along with modulation CC1? Or just CC1 only? Thx!
ОтветитьCould this be used with a kick drum sound?
Ответитьcool review!
ОтветитьVery interesting. So does it respond to double or triple tongued attack at the front of notes?
Ответитьvery cool.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this! I have a breath controller with an 1/8" jack that I used to use with a MIDI keyboard that had a breath controller input that I no longer have. Do you know if there is an interface that would make it useable for me? Thank you!
ОтветитьHey Zach, do you use the breath controller for choirs? I would see the use based on your comment regarding how you would sing the line.
ОтветитьWould this be useful for … say.. electric guitar vsts?
ОтветитьLove this. Very expressive.
ОтветитьYou use breath controller for one cc at a time. With faders you can use 4 at the same time. Am i wrong?
ОтветитьDo you suck and blow?
ОтветитьHi, Thanks. You are demostrating the TEC BBC 1, and it has only Breath control or both Breath as well as Bite?
Ответитьi'm super new to this world. i'm curious can i use this with a Native Instruments mk3 s88?
ОтветитьHey Zach ! Would you be upgrading to the BBC2 model?
ОтветитьHow do you use modulation and expression at the same time with this? Doesn't it better to have the second one they sell which have tilt and nod option to it?
Thanks
so is it sending vel or volume, expression or mod in the very first case here?
ОтветитьHello, I came across your video while searching for breath controllers. Are there any brass programs/samplers you can recommend? I’m looking for the most realistic trumpets, trombones, sax, etc. that I can play on my keys. Thank you in advance.
