Using AI BACKGROUNDS with GREEN SCREEN

I just tried the reverse of this in my latest video. I shot the green screen video first, took a still from it after the grade and used generative fill to match the lighting of the subject. Your process is still better but a.i is getting scary accurate in matching the lighting and fov.

The green screen link is to an item that looks significantly different and smaller than what you used. Where can I get the large one you used?

I think , this green screen or vfx thing is very hard to do.

The AI element is irrelevant… appreciate the techniques however it’s not new… well done but the AI stuff feels like a buzz term.

Thanks for this, very informative. Now with the previewing the keying on a laptop to make sure our lighting matches our background, I see that most of those video capture card are 4K. Does that mean if I want to shoot 8K does it mean I won't see the picture? Or will it still display at the maximum resolution of the card? I guess for setting up one can always do it in 4k and when ready to shoot bump it up to 8k.

Spent all my money in cameras when I should have been buying lights. lol

Cool, but expensive as hell. Would love to have this gear, but being creative and realize your visions should not be this far away. This is where stable diffusion will replace physical hardware :/ would love to have all this stuff, but not possible for alot of us creative souls with smaller pockets.

It would have been better and more relatable if the video was shot with a smart phone and shared the settings and more basic lighting to show what could be done with equipment that a non professional could use.

Definitely can't afford the 10 grand in Aperature lighting you used lmfao. But it was fun to see how accurate you got the shots. This tutorial won't be possible for my pay grade though

The next level is 3D Ai generated spaces. 2D can only go so far.

These same tips could actually be watered down a bit, and used by streamers to get a more professional looking digital scene.

Why so much work just to match with background, play with stable diffusion and generate the image as you want. Even with 3d tools like blender and unreal engine we can have any set for background.

I've always enjoyed watching your videos, and they're very inspiring for anyone who's interested in filming. I have a space that's 11 feet by 20 feet with removable furniture, and I'd like to use it for a two-person interview. I'd appreciate your help in suggesting how I can use this space to use AI-generated backgrounds. A drawing and lighting suggestions would be very helpful. If I keep the green background 10 feet behind the interviewer, then where should I place the cameras? Would we be able to use 3 DSLR cameras in this small space? I appreciate your suggestions.
