This has to be the worst fermenter I have ever seen! I have been brewing beer for 25 years and Coopers is always the best. I tried this new fermenter design with hesitancy, I'm like it cant seal, no airlock this is bad. I was right, first ever bacteria infection I have ever had, the lacto got in I had scobies growing after 2 weeks. For the new home brewer this in a no go. Mine is going to the dump. you cant ferment beer like this with no sealed vessel ad an air lock...Bad move Coopers!

If you’re going use kits, the best tip is to use your wife’s stick mixer. It will make life so much easier getting through hard to dissolve malt and malt extracts.

I started at 30 Celsius and quickly lowered it to 28 C but it stayed at 28 C overnight till i got it down to 26 C. its now day 3 and its at a nice 22 - 24 C. I hope I didn't fuck it all up.

Worst part is waiting for any home brew to get ready for drinking. What am I supposed to drink in the meantime or does that make me an alcoholic?

Lockdown !

Lots of people seem to keep the bottles for more than 2 months before consuming. What temperature should i keep them at if i'm keeping them for that length of time? Would it affect the beer if i kept them cool for an extended period? Any suggestions would help :) Thanks
