Thanks for this video! My question is on Facebook shop integration - will Shopify and/or Woocommerce offer the same easy shop integration with Facebook in 2024. I'm wondering this since there are a lot of changes happening with Facebook shops, with the move to in-app checkout this year. Thanks so much!

I can tell you from personal experience, there is no customer support on Shopify lol. You are talking to someone overseas using chat GPT and will tell you "thanks, I have escalated your issue and you should b receiving an email one day" .... 2 weeks later and you don't receive anything. They literally do this for everything down to forgetting your password. If your store messes up once and you can't fix it on your own, you may as well cancel your subscription and start again, because there is no phone number, only a chat function and it does nothing at all. No support is what this video meant to say about Shopify.

Wordpress is for the people ready to put in the work vs shopify for the people looking for the quick fix 😉

Id say it like this: Shopify = iPhone, for people without skills, and Wordpress/woo = for people with skills. Easy

WC is basically a WP plugin, and WP is essentially a blogging software. All of the structures like the database is made for blogging purpose, which is very much different than an ecommerce software. It's like you want to build a hotel that may have many floors but you build it on top of a house foundation, it will collapse one day. And yes, as a software developer I have met many WC users who got this troubles. It might be only good for a simple online store.

My one negative remark is that I did not enjoy the dancing text in your presentation. But, again, impressive video. Oh & 1 more thing I used Hostinger for 3 days & quickly cx them. Hated their chat support. Switched to Siteground and am pretty happy with them. Excellent chat support, excellent support archives, and you can call them if you need them, although they don’t make it obvious or easy to call them. But still better than Hostinger IMO. 👍🏼👏🏻👏🏻

I don’t know why you set up the text to move around,,,I found the movement back and forth to be extremely disruptive.

I have been using both . Wordpress leaning curve can be hitting a wall … terrible interface … options all over … lots of plugins to update . U spend much more time problem solving than designing the site .
