It is scenes like this that help me to understand why some fans ship these two characters. It is clear there is a deep bond between them. Though I do not mind seeing them just as close friends.

Til now I’m still pissed & bitter that he ends up with Iris instead of Caitlin, Barry & Caitlin would make so much of a better couple than him with Iris. Plus I like Caitlin better than Iris. Every single time I would hope something happens and they decide to just finally break up so he & Caitlin can end up together instead. They suit each so much better.

Seasons 4-6 aren’t canon for me sorry. while season 3 wasn’t perfect it still felt somewhat like seasons 1-3. 4-6 were a downfall and it sucks because this show had sooo much potential with the thinker, cicada, nora, bloodwork, etc

I just love at how much trust and loyalty Barry has with his friends. Even though after knowing one of his best friend turning into a villain, he still stays by her side. Even risking his life into getting his friend back, it’s rare, especially in this world to find a friend who trusts you as much as Barry trusts Caitlyn.
