Solo 7 Star Greninja Raid in 3 Attacks GUARANTEED Every Time - Best Pokemon Scarlet Violet Guide!

Not sure why a few people think the intimidate allies have anything to do with this, as all the comments reporting back success with the build show, at no point is the Acid Armor & Aqua Ring combo not enough to survive anything but 3 crits in a row. We don't just beat it once and call it a day, we test multiple set ups multiple times with multiple allies until we find a consistent solution to the raid, that's why we have about 15 clears in a row recorded now, as with all 3 7 Stars the builds are as solid as it gets not allowing for extreme bad RNG (3 crits in a row or 7 stored power misses).

i JUST NOW caught my greninja finally !!! i haven't connected the game to the internet in 6 months because greninja is my favorite starter of all time, and i'm so happy to finally have him after all the trials thanks to this vaporeon guide, you rule dude !!!

It worked it took 4 tries because of my awfully great bad luck getting criter & stored power Missing but in the it worked. I've Done it with rando's A couple friends & never made it to even half health but i solo this. You're saved me hours of frustration ty

I just want everyone who reads this that this build for Vaporeon is the best thing to take this on SOLO. Just so everyone is aware of what this is capable of for farming it’s riches I propped down a level 2 poison raid and was able to enter and complete 4 raids within the 30 minute sand which time which contributed for at minimum like around 50 candy XL.
I’ve done online raids and solo raids and I will admit solo raids is absolutely the way to go cannot trust online ppl joining you. I Can tell you how many times slowbros were knocked out on my team and causing us to lose. The npcs usually carry intimidated and/or statuses which only benefit the solo run.

The most consistent strategy I’ve have is as follow:

Turn 1 aqua ring
Then proceed with 1-2 stored power. Depending on how quick you are with commands you will be able to get a second stored power up to help terrastilize quicker. Hopefully you connect on one or both of those stored power.

After greninja clears your boost that’s when you proceed with 3 acid armors and 3 calm mind. If you get bad rng you might need to squeeze a heal up order in case greninja hits a crit.
After you get off 3 acid armor/calm mind use a Go all out command to up damage.
Then start firing off stored power. And terrastilize as soon as you can. Greninja will double team for 3 and 4th time once it takes one or two charges attacks.

Does this vaporeon also work for 6 star raids?

it doesn’t work if you miss all but one of the stored powers though

This mite not help with the greninja but doesn't the move power trip work like stored power
i been trying a krookodile with bulk up up and power trip on 6 stars

i don't know why, i'm doing exactly the same, same vaporeon, same stats, same order of attacks. It takes an eternity for animations to happen and I end up fully buffed up at 30% time, making me lose if I miss 3 stored powers... I'm so frustrated with this

I liked espathra for greninja.

I used the same Vaporeon, but replace Aqua Ring with Swift, which I used three times to Terastallize to Steel, so only Ice Beam and Night Slash could hit me. It worked great!

It's amazing how fast people can get a mon maxed immediately for the event raids. I think you were also the only one to explain this thoroughly.

Also, is Greninja's Nature set, or is it random?

Josh, can confirm this strat works, but it may take a couple tries, as my first attempt nearly failed but I reset since I had saved before beginning the fight. And sometimes it takes 4-6 attacks since he sure loves his Double Team...

Great build. 463 HP is tank af, which is Vaporeon's max HP with max EVs and IVs and level 100. Like they said, if the RNG gods have it in for you no build will help you. But, barring a crapton of crits and missing EVERY Stored Power you can clear this fight without a single faint.

You're basically describing Slowbro though. The only difference is that Vaporeon isn't weak to dark. But short of a back to back critical hit, Slowbro won't die either. And as you yourself said, we cannot account for RNG.
I was actually about to build this as well, but I figured I'd try Slowbro anyways because i had it built from the last event raid. The first try I got unlucky with 3 crits in a row and fainted. But the second time it went according to plan and I won no problem. I changed NOTHING from the Cinderace build except for swapping Psychic Terrain with Slack Off. Keeping the Twisted Spoon held item meant I could 2-shot the shield without relying on the shout buff or even the 3rd use of Iron Def.

Its funny though. If Greninja had Dark Pulse instead of Night Slash, Slowbro would not work at all. Lucky us I guess?

Where can you get the aqua ring skill?

Awesome guide!! This is the first 7 star I was able to do just because I only recently got the game. One thing to note is my EV's weren't fully trained and I was still able to do it with relative ease. I got onlucky with 3 dodges in a row on the last Stored Power. But it all still worked out and I got him on the second attempt

Sorry lads this isnt guaranteed. At all. Its a good strat, its worked for me. I got the greninja, but to use this method to farm is unreliable. Not with the double teams and the timer. These are literally apart of the raid so the RNG should be taken into consideration. It is absolutely not guaranteed everytime.

Thanks, this worked like a charm. first attempt I hit bad rng on the doubleteams and ran out of PP on stored power, but 2nd try went just as you said.

The build works, but it took five tries to succeed. The first 4 did not have any helpful support Pokemon (ie Intimidate, Will-O-Wisp, etc). The fifth try, Vaporeon only survived because of Arboliva's Seed Sower creating Grassy Terrain and healing.

Even then, I needed to do Heal Cheer twice in the battle, once before and once after the stat buff clear. Even then, it was very close to the end of the timer. I would not have had time to do more than 3 Stored Powers.

The issue is the Gunk Shot that Greninja does before you get to move does roughly 50%. Without Heal Cheer and Arboliva, you never recover that from Aqua Ring.

So the build works in that you can solo Greninja with it. However even critical hits aside, this is not a guaranteed success. Perhaps Greninja was adjusted between now and the time this video was posted. However, it is important to note that this build is not the near guaranteed success that it claims to be.

This is bullshit, his gunk shot kept crit me, 4 raids and each one failed due to either gunk shot crits or missing stored power. The slowbro strat though, worked each time without fail. >:(
