You can't hate Great jagras a a whole. Every game needs an easy enemy to start you off. The game can't just give you some leather armor with an iron weapon and toss you against an anjanath. Respect all monsters.

So i can confirm... litterally ALL you have to do to beat great jagras is walk forward and attack... i genuinely did this, i was experimenting for something when doing the initial quest, with the base game gear. All i did was walk straight twords him and attack, and i won... i mean i used pitions and shit, obviously if you dont avoid shit you will eventually die, bit... with pitions i killed him faster...
