In this video I will demonstrate the difference in sound quality routed through a 100k ohm center tap potentiometer (a.k.a. Pot) with and without the center tap connected. Center tap potentiometers were commonly used in the early days of radios and amplifiers to help accentuate base and limit the “tinny” sounds at lower volumes. I will test this using my 1975 Realistic SA-10 solid state amplifier.
