How to Fix Apps Games & Programs Not Opening In Windows 11

I change the exe. File name to exe.
Now windows ask me how do you want to open this app every single time

I foolishly followed the instructions in this video against my better judgment and this ended up being a big mistake my computer is now twice as slow as it was. my high end laptop is now running like trash I ended up screwing almost all of my programs up and can't revert the settings back because the file that he told us to save want to reinstall because I don't have the privilege to change it back the fact is if you have a newer computer with a new operating system and is trying to run the old app/ program on it there's a 99% chance that it will work don't don't risk that 1% chance trying to trying to fix it you may ending up regretting this and if you do make sure you have video proof that what the person is saying in the video actually works unlike in this video

I don't have exefile folder what do i do???

Will all that help with c&c red alert I'm new so that is complicated to me so I would appreciate it if you would tell me if it would work

This literally saved me. I edited my gameplays and vegas wasn't open bse I forgot I changed my .exe files for something else and didn't back it up once I did it. Dude life savor!! Thanks so fucking much! You know how frustrated I was. Save me dude.

This did not help me open up COD2, im ok with that.However when I went to import the back up reg file i get an error that says can't import not all data was successfully written to the registry. Some keys are open by the system or other processes or you have insufficient privileges to perform this operation????
