I have the EUFY Homebase3 with Eufy3 cameras (3) and they are awesome! 4k!

So do the Eufy wireless cameras connect to the router wifi or does the home base generates its own wifi range? On the fence of buying a camera kit and eufy anounced their new e330 or should I go with the Reolink 810?

I love that the cameras have a solar power option. Also love that the home base does no require a subscription services. I want to Thank you for doing all these videos. Everything I have learned about home security is because of your videos!

I'm currently "shopping" for a camera system and Eufy is leading the pack. I like the idea of no subscription and having a centralized storage in the house (read: Homebase 3). Thanks for the good reviews.

An advice I leave. If the camera is not detecting movement, one of the possible reasons is poor positioning. It is recommended that she be at a height of at least 2 and a half meters. So the sensor works better.
When I bought it, I installed it very low. So it didn't work right. After placing it higher it worked perfectly. See? The guy in this video installed above the garage which is perfect.

Does it record in 4k? Why my cheap 1080p cameras have better resolution and sensitivity? I don't believe it is a compression issue, it is a fake 4k camera. It is useless as a security camera due to ir only working under 20feet. Most video recordings start at 10feet.
Plus you can't continue monitor all cameras at once and even 1 camera.

Does it use AV1 codec for the videos?

Is there a similar version, but with OPTICAL and AUTOMATIC zoom when unidentified people or cars plates are spotted?

This Camera can be work without homebase

Beware! You may end up with a camera that doesn’t last past the 1 YEAR warranty. Eufy will not respond and you will be left high and dry with a broken camera. For how expensive these cameras I would expect better customer service and support. I owned the 2c pro video doorbell camera, currently there is no sound and the camera does not record at times. Waste of $200 as Eufy refuses to do anything about. They really do not care about their loyal customer base.

Where did you teh the Terabyte addition at?

Does it connect with Alexa?

Does anyone know if a hard drive is added later, can the videos stored on the base storage be retained or are they lost?

Some questions. How is the range from base station to cam? Example 4 sides to 3000 sq ft house. Base station in middle with 4 cams on all sides. Does it work? I read 30 ft max. Is that accurate?
If the range is no good, can I buy a second base and ethernet cable it to the router or a mesh node with a LAN port?

Finally for the S220, that does not require a Home Base, and had local storage, but does that mean I need a subscription to view the video on my smartphone to view?

Continuous recording chart you showed. Does this mean if I want to record 24/7, I just need to add extra storage with 16TB card ? I need 24/7 recording

How to continuous (24/7) recoding in S330 eufy camera?

how far can cameras be mounted from the base station? On Best Buy Q&A section, they state 30ft, which isn't very far at all.

Can I use it indoor? I want to put it in my windows. My house has bricks and I’m not sure about the WiFi connection.

Will the Eufy Cam 3 camera pair to my Home Base 2? I'm currently using Eufy 2 Pro and I wanted to add a Cam 3 camera for my exterior of my home.

I’m so happy that Eufy has come out with 4k ultra HD video. The features I like best with the cameras is the solar power keeping the batteries charged. Secondly, I love the fact that you can upgrade or add a hard drive to home base three up to 16 TB!

Expandable storage, Solar charge, and 4K. One of the better system out there.
