In the original, Morello's goons just cause minor damage to the restaurant in the remake they nearly wipe it off the block, the Tommy guns virtually blast away the whole facade of Pepe's and then they hurl a grenade into the place, starting a fire that probably burnt the whole establishment down.

In the remake, you can see how Salieri controls Tommy's life. He literally makes Sarah ensure tommy quits drinking just cus he doesn't want the business to suffer. That's some Walter White level manipulation

I haven't played the remake but to be honest I prefer the OG 2002 one. Especially the voice actor for Don Salier sounded like a real mobster.

I thought the bit where the don Told Sarah to stop Tommy drinking was weird, we haven't seen Tommy with an alcohol problem at any point, but we have with Pauly... Just my little observation

God damn......like, wow I wouldn't want them to change up the cutscenes in the old gta games( well give better animation and cinematography) but damn if rockstar took a pi age from 2k, just imagine if the gta trilogy DE was this nice......ahh welp back to dream land

Look, I LOVE the remake, it is hands down one of the best remakes I've ever seen, but the original still had the AMAZING score by Vladimir Simunek, and this remake just has the constant piano music; the entire soundtrack sounds the same. Had the remake kept the original score, I'd call it a masterpiece remake. As is, it's almost perfect

In 2002 the audio quality was like a hearing it trought a tin can and the graphics where like cardboard, in the remake the audio it's cinema quality and it looks like you could see every hair on his skin, but the humor and the joke are timeless

Well the original is more funny but the remake is more natural like a remake should be . So , it's logical you got split by your opinions.

Voice acting, writing, and graphics are pretty good in the 2002 version, but it's outdated and pales in comparison to the remake. The remake feels like it has much more character to it if that's the right way to say it. Plus, character development is key if you want to care about the characters and the remake does that superbly well and better than the 2002 version

Call me crazy. For me, I prefer the 2002 one. From the graphics to the voice over. Feels more fun. The DE feels too much like I'm watching television.

The original Mafia was and still is a masterpiece... I am not saying that remake is bad but cannot stand a chance with original
