one correct item? no, the MK is good for speed running but isn't necessary. the bombs are a great chose because you can kill the first boss with them and get an extra item. one ring gives a little hp boost which can help newbies and considering you don't get anything to replace it for a while its not the worse choice. humanities or goddess blessing can be used to fully restore health and humanities can be useful if you die and need humanity back. the others aren't as useful but aren't completely worthless, even the pendant can be traded with the crow.

Even though i only stumbled across your vids the other day. I think these are the best souls playthroughs ive watched especially to your reactions and milkys commentry. Truly awesome!

I love rewatching these vids now that ive actually played all the souls games. Its twice as funny when you know whats going on, why its going on, and whats about to go wrong in about 4 seconds when she opens that door or walks around that corner lol.

Why do people never change clothes to something that resists poison in the poison swamps? It really helps, you get like 3 bars before you get poisoned.

I know this is really late but the actual reason why the Ceaseless Discharge can fall off the cliff is because he tears his arm out at beginning of the boss fight IF take his sister's clothes. It's the reason why he attacks and in his blind rage to get it back, as those are the only things he has to remember her by, he tears off his arm. If you attack him instead of taking the clothing he won't rip his arm off and can stay on the cliff indefinitely and can attack.
