Ok I have been a suffer of lichen planus for a few years I was in remission for abour two years and it came back with a vengance. My bio is 78 years male have a heart condition called AF. Had covid 1 year ago had the vaxx then noticed changes to my skin and gums -about 6 months ago bleeding gums and little sores appered all over my arms and skin darkening around my feet and ankles realised I had LP in a bad way. Went to see a DR got creams blood tests ( something related to my T cells atacking my body) but to no annswers. I was working in my garden and a rose thorn got stuck in my right thumb about 3 weeks ago and my thumb became infected ( i did nothing about it for about a week) but I noticed that the symptoms of my LP had reduced by about 80% . Also I have just read a medical artical that Beta Blockers can cause LP in some people. So my conclusion is that the infection on my thumb had alterd the way the Tcells were now atacking the infection on my thumb and not on the rest of my body. So I am seeing my DR show him the printout I got off the net in the next few days ,and getting off the Betas Blockers as they put you Tcells into overdrive according to medical research --look it up your self. Recomend not sticking rose thorns into your self -because it hurts!
ОтветитьI'm struggling with this right now. This was a helpful video. Thank you. I'm depressed knowing that it's not a short term condition, especially as I have other conditions, plus my husband recently died.
ОтветитьI have LP which I truly believe is stress induced and I rarely eat vegetables. I know what to do: go cold turkey off the internet/addiction to phone and change my diet. Now, I just need the courage to do both.
ОтветитьAm grateful to dr_judeosas who have given so much of himself to keep me healthy and safe from Herpes. You are a perfect combination of responsibility and care, Thank you for taking care of your patients so delicately. Your positivity, helpfulness, and dedication to patients really stand out.
ОтветитьLichen plans treatment avaliable with good result
ОтветитьI got it after covid. So could be drug induced
Ответить🙏 thank u
ОтветитьI was diagnosed a year ago. I have it over both legs and one arm. Stress makes it so much worse. The day I gave birth to my twins I started have signs of it. For a YEAR doctors kept treating me for yeast infections cuz they didn't know what was wrong. (The itch from a yeast infection has got nothing on a stress indused lichen flare up.). Had to hide my legs and arms when seeing doctors cuz they assumed I was a drug addicted when I wasn't. Finally saw a dermatologist who new right when she walked in what I had. Not seeing much of a difference and been on meds for a year. I feel your pain.
ОтветитьI have a rash on my wrist. They started looking like blisters but won't go away. I have had them for a little over a year. I noticed lately they are on one ankle and other foot on top. They are completely round. I also have a rash on my leg that started like these but came together and look bruised...I've had that now for 5 months.
ОтветитьIdk y osmo*** video was on top when I searched for lichen planus. This is much better than that one
ОтветитьI had this and I cured it no medicines or lotions
ОтветитьThank Uh sooo much sir , I can easily understand dermatology by your videos .
ОтветитьTo take my revenge for your great medical knowledge, here are a few small corrections to your English: "it is likely to be caused" not "it is likely caused"-likely is an adjective not an adverb, and why say "often times" when the word "often" by itself means "many times"?
ОтветитьWhat About In The EYES & EARS?
ОтветитьI found I have this and fibromyalgia in the same week.
ОтветитьAlhumdulillah lichen planus is completely cure ☺...
ОтветитьI have both cutaneous and mucosal LP. Mucosal LP and onychomycosis completely healed being on keto diet for 6 months. I am thinking of following keto diet my entire life.
ОтветитьIt started in the mouth for me, and it’s also on my skin on some parts. I’m finally seeing a dermatologist this year.
ОтветитьBeen diagnosed about 9 years ago for the first time. Thought it was healed after a year of hell with cortisone treatment. There were recurring attacks. All I can say... It's a terrible, horrible condition 😔Stress is definitely a culprit... And seasonal changes, in my case. Strongs to all 🙏
ОтветитьThank you for giving people hope. Incurable is not a word that should be used. Everything at one time was incurable. I believe it is curable so let’s all send out those thoughts instead of giving in to this disease.
ОтветитьI am suffering from lichen planus from about 7-8 years what to do please help
ОтветитьCure ?
ОтветитьI got this from Covid VACCINE and another flares last month when I had covid!
ОтветитьYou described what I have exactly, purple pruretic plaques that are symmetrical bilaterally. I have been suffering for over 3 years, and it's miserable!
ОтветитьI think mine was triggered by chronic stress.
Ответитьthat time my age is 23 year old
ОтветитьExcellent demonstration
ОтветитьI had oral lichen planus for years and then I had a metal allergy diagnosed...namely dental metals. Wherever the metal fillings touched my skin the lesions appeared. I also have lichen sclerosus. Sadly the titanium(not pure metal) tooth implants I had a year ago failed and not only did I lose money I also lost two replacement teeth. The original metal allergy (nickel) has caused me many problems over the years and it is all due to the old style metal fillings.
ОтветитьGee, your lecture is wonderful!
ОтветитьIn what way or ways is Lichen Planus related to Lichen Sclerosus?
Ответитьif we were to remove the cavity fillings.. will the oral lichen planus go away?.. i have oral lichen planus only on my bottom lip ..Candy and white rice and white pasta and the sun in summer triggers mine to erupt.. my diagnosis was auto immune disorder .TFS
ОтветитьIdiopathic, a fancy word for, I don't have a clue.
ОтветитьI have it all over my body,to me stress brings it out and makes it worse ...
I take NAC and lightening cream to help with marks.
I've also done surgery
is it just me or is there anyone else out there wondering what in the world is he saying, words I haven't heard before and I am an English major....obviously am not of a medical mind, but I do have the oral one and have been in absolute horrible pain for the past 6 yrs and no Dr. can figure out what it is...closest explaination I have found though...wish I knew how to get rid of this terrible pain..
