RTX 3080 Ti | 12900K | Unreal Engine 5 Lumens Lighting Demo 4K Epic Settings

40-50 fps = unplayable

Struggling with performance here - 3080 ti, 5900X.
Only getting about 7 fps on a 4K monitor. Also only about 15fps in Unreal Engine itself - do you have any reflections on this? no pun intended lol

The visuals of this game engine are mind blowing, coupled with Skyrim music, oh man, masterpiece

Looks incredible, can't wait to see this beauty on my future 4k monitor! But there's a thing that the CPU is loaded only at 3-5% (cores is at 0 5 5 6 0 4 0 6 6 0 0 10 %, lol), the same thing, too, sometimes with GPUs in UE5 tests (70-80% loaded). So the engine needs optimization, and I'm sure it will rise up at performance

It's kinda funny how graphics improving and looks better each year but nobody cares about AI and how shit it is in videogames, specially if you playing atmospheric singleplayer storymode.

this is what we have to look forward to once we finally leave the PS4 and Xbox One behind! I feel like graphics have gotten to a point of diminishing returns...its animation and AI/world interaction that needs to catch up.

Assassins Creed on this engine would be phenomenal.

Looks absolutely Amazing, but im little afraid of the GPU power you need to play a Game like this on 140+ Frames. Keep in mind, 50 Frames when there is literally nothing going on except lighting effects.

50fps, that's not a good thing. It seems the upscaled resolution, to literally rise the resolution of EVERYTHING, that is not the way to go. Those super sample "tricks" like the Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR, it seems they will set aside the total resolution because, hell, if a GPU like the RTX3080 can't run at this at the full speed of 60fps, then 4k resolution is really not doable at the current tech threshold. And to think Sony had the audacity of putting a "8k resolution" staple at the Playstation 5 box, lol the PS5 is going to explode if you set, idk, Horizon 2 to run at legit 8k resolution

Of course this is not optimized for the best performance, but man it is incredible that you are constantly maxing out the GPU usage and barely using your CPU at all. I can only imagine with the next generation of RTX cards the power that they will have.

A remaster of AC Origins would be great using unreal 5 ....i can only hope lol.

this is amazing and all but I think real life is better, get out and explore the world, best thing you don't need high end video card, you got your 5 senses and even 6th if you are into that.
