How to LOCK APPS on iPhone! (with Face ID & Passcode)

I found your video really helpful but here's a thing bothering me, when I type lockscreen in shortcut app after tapping on add action button, there's no option available, it only shows set orientation lock and nothing else? Why? Could you please let me know? It would be really helpful. Thank you.

Unfortunately you cannot do it on the shortcut app itself? Because they could just easily remove the automation

Does anyone know how to lock a thing where multiple apps are stored in, rather than indevidual apps. Like when you drag one app to another, it create a thing that you can also name it

Any app except for the Shortcut itself... which makes it pointless. Anyone can access your Shortcut app and delete the automation thus removing the "protection".

App is just opening with out locking screen , I only get the notification from shortcuts when I open the app . How do I fix this ?

For those struggling with iOS 17 they basically moved the function that's all, it's still possible. Instead of searching like in this video tap on "New Blank Automation" below the search bar, now use the search bar at the bottom of the next window, search for "Lock Screen" and it'll appear.

It doesn't work in ios 17.1

Brandon, I appreciate this tutorial but since I have suffered a Tbi (traumatic brain injury) and I short term memory is next to nonexistent next time I have the chance I want to go to the Apple Store and see if I can have a specialist can help me walk through these different steps otherwise I wouldn’t remember how to do it myself… I’m sure they would help me do this correct? I’m not jailbreaking or unlocking my phone in any way, shape or form…
