Many many comments from people who are confused about the 44 frames, 22 frames and 11 frames.
That’s the length of the run cycle LOOP. That is how many individual frames were needed to be drawn to complete one cycle.
But they run (play back at) at 60fps, 30fps and 15fps.
Hopefully that explains it.
wow so good helped so much
ОтветитьMy opinion on the video is that with 15 fps is better for faraway scenes but that depends on quick the scene is, like how short it is and it depend on how fast you want it to go but if your going for a slowmotion type of deal you need add more frames mainly because with these scene you need to add detail and most of the time with these scenes its usually a close up shoot hope this helps (i'm still working my carriers = =)
Ответитьhow many frames is usually good to use?
ОтветитьI was looking for examples of this, thankyou!
ОтветитьI bet u there are people out that dont even realize that they're on 30hz monitors and are saying 30fps looks just like 60fps
ОтветитьHow would I add something like the on4s imported as an overlay in davinci for a 60fps video. Will the 2 different frame rates work?
ОтветитьTo be honest the difference between the three are pretty minute. Like I am a gammer and stuff but anyone saying they can tell the difference is full of it. The human eye can process about 24 frams persecond. And honestly graphics have gone beyond our vision capabilities already any percieved difference is your mind making it up. Kinda like how when we eat food thats the exact same recipe but we think the more expensive one taste better.
ОтветитьI mean, I can see the difference but also if it's more work and yet the effect is just a bit different why even bother with trying for 60?
ОтветитьThank you! Absolutely amazing, I’m getting into 2d animation, it’s super cool!
ОтветитьI see almost no difference
And yes I have it at hd and 60fps
thanks for doing this 👊
ОтветитьThank you for this video. I have an assignment due in a week and I wanted to find out how many frames I need for a minute. Going for the middle frame rate which is challenging but now I have somewhere to start!
ОтветитьI would use 11 frames on non important events, 22 on semi important events, and 44 on very important events
Ответить30fps is the sweet spot for me, I get motion sick playing or watching 60fps.
Ответитьvery nice. agreed. 12, 15, 24 & 30fps all please my eye best. Into the Spiderverse = king.
Ответитьwhen it comes to watching it no one cares if its 60 or 15 lmao live action is a different story children would be fine with 10 fps lol
Ответитьnice run animation , but still same not clear fps confusions
ОтветитьAnything above 15 or 18 at most will look bad in 2D animation imo.
ОтветитьDue to the vast majority of films being 24 fps, the vast majority of hand-drawn animation is 24fps on 2's. I feel like a great improvement in smoothness can come from simply moving to 30, and that's in lieu of BOTH forms of media; With only a 25% increase in effort/storage space.
ОтветитьAnything above good ole 24fps is overachieving in animation.
Anything under 60fps is torture in gaming.
isn't it amazing how a simple search and decision by yourself to make this video is still significantly impacting and a benefit to people 5 years later. Thank you
ОтветитьI really don't have any prob with 15 fps, if i made 24 fps i bet no one is gonna appreciate it anyway and not to mention very time consuming
Ответитьif I were to choose one of them to animate with for the rest of my life, it would be 30 fps, I think it has the perfect balance between laziness and overwork
Ответитьgo to setting and Reduce video speed to 0.25
ОтветитьImagine drawing 60 frames for just 1 second of animation.
Ответить11 frame like a anime?
Ответитьthanks!
ОтветитьI wonder, what about mixing framerates? Would one scene look better in 15, 30 or 60 fps? Would animation overall look better if there were parts with different framerates if so when it would looks better and how often change fps?
ОтветитьI think 15 fps can look really organic and cool with the right combination of stuff.
Ответитьsometimes less is more
ОтветитьI can barely see a difference between 30 and 60 here, only if I'm really looking for it. Didn't even notice the motion blur until you mentioned it.
To be clear, you animated this at 60 fps then scaled it down, right? I wonder if making this animation intending for the 15 fps might make that one better: clearer poses and whatnot.
15 FPS Hurt For my eyes
ОтветитьContinuing my life long failure, I see no difference between 30FPS and 60FPS.
ОтветитьIf you switch between high rate and low rate every 10 seconds it really fucks with your eyes. You can almost feel your brain physically adjusting to it. Weird.
ОтветитьIf they're actually 11, 22 and 44 drawings in a second respectively, then how come you're describing them as 15, 30 and 60 FPS respectively? That seems weird. I mean, 60 FPS quite literally implies that there are 60 unique frames each second. "Filming" 44 frames and stretching the time out to one second shouldn't really be described as "60 FPS". That would be like opening a pack of Pringles to discover that it's only two-thirds full.
ОтветитьI don't think it's a good Idea to draw in 60s frames it just don't look natural it's too smooth and bouncy rather than it carrying it's own weight and being naturally dirty! in the sense of how you draw an alley! is the alley clean and neat or is it dirty and stinky like it should be! it depends what your making but anything serious could be a risky thing! do be careful in how you use that much power!
60s frame is just not great for animation to work with! I wish you would have added a 48frames to see if that the perfect one and seeing it side by side like this. 60s frames is just not good for the story your telling it may ruined the whole thing! stay with traditional 24 or 30 is fine! any lower than the then it's choppy any higher is too slippery! maybe you can get away with it on a 48frames but we need someone to make this and to compare it!
Watch this while listening to Banjo Kazooie's Stilt Stride song
ОтветитьAnyone know where i can find more animations like this? I'd love to see a short anime segment made in 60 fps, maybe 3-4 seconds, i don't want a full anime, just a little bit to get an idea.
I dont want the AI fake bullshit, i'm trying to search for a real one but the search results are saturated with all the AI fps increases, it's really hard to find.
Help
Everyone: you can't animate 60 fps in 2D animation software
Him: yesn't
Again, 60 FPS is honestly the worst animation FPS you could pick.
ОтветитьI like 15 FPS better then all of these, it makes it look just generally better
ОтветитьMe using 10 fps: 👁👄👁
Ответить@biscuitsalive did you get your name from Viz years back? I only ask because it was funny as hell to me.
Ответитьthanks, i was looking for a video with the differences of each fps. (i mean i could've just tested it myself, but like all people who wants to get into animations... always good to save time.) thumbs up
ОтветитьTurn it to 1080 p
*Video closed
For this art style I actually think 15 fps is the most fitting
ОтветитьThis is awesome!
