It is showing er4 just after i insert strip without giving blood what to do

There is no internal calibration for reliability of readings

The expiry date is mentioned on strips container and also there is an instruction that it should be used within 3 months after opening the strips bottle lid. So can't we use strip after 3 months of opening container even if expiry date is not reached ?
