Böker Plus Kaizen Green Canvas Micarta folding knife - hands on review

Böker Plus and Böker Magnum are both made in Asia.
The few I own myself are serving me fine. Especially the Böker Plus Obscura. If you ever get your hands on one, you will definitely like it!
After watching your excellent review, the Kaizen will probably be my next flipper. Well done, good man!

Really great video. I just picked up this knife for $100 at gpknives. Pretty sure I got one of the last ones in micarta because it took quite a few calls and searches to find one. I think this knife is worth it. The flipper tab size is my only issue. I've been carrying it for just over a week and i'm building up a little finger tip callus. But if i'm showing it off and opening and closing 10+ times then my finger is raw for rest of the day. I bet every return has been because of the flipper and those would have been happy customers if that flipper was designed better. Everything else is amazing. I did find just a slight loosening of the pivot made the flipping much more tolerable. I think once the knife is worn in better then I might tighten it back up.

The only fault for myself is the lanyard hole for the butt. I’ll be grinding mine off and polishing it smooth. Have one with carbon fiber handles coming in the mail already and to help not draw the eyes to the large swivel sides that look like washers I think I’m going to gun blu all the metal parts besides the blade.
