Hi ! Great tutorial. I am having one doubt- for insertion a string I need to convert it into base64 prior insertion so I'm using character set utf8 at time of connection, is it secure? Can you please confirm, thanks

Thanks a lot.... It resolved the error I was getting ...i.e by using charset="utf8"
