Sunscreen and sunglasses are 0.K. in a vehicles or a building with the windows up and the airconditioning on but by themselves no sunscreen or sunglasses block out all of the suns' rays.
ОтветитьIm going the cheap route: Hydrocodone 4% (the most expensive); gua shaw; microcurrent at home followed by Neogenesis recovery just for the post microneedling on upper lip only; face taping. Teeth whitening strips and no more than ten minutes of facial yoga... I'll let you know by December 31 2023! : )
ОтветитьI have a plan too which I follow but the holy grail for me is spf 50 ++++ prefer the Japanese brands no matter what the weather I use it Every Day, tretinoin at night good nutrition wholefood no processed food and micro needling I don't spend a lot of money on expensive skin care just basic cleanser and moisturiser
ОтветитьYou remind me of beautiful Jamie Lee Curtis and i love your honesty ❤ you look amazing
ОтветитьGosh you look fabulous! Came here from the comment you left on that dermatologist channel. I subscribed!
ОтветитьI'm also 57 and on a journey. DO you know anything about the Smartxide Dot Laser? It appears to be the only CO2 ablative treatment available near me. Thank you!
ОтветитьI just turned 29 and started my skincare journey 2 years ago!! I religiously watch Dr. Idriss here on YT when I saw the clip of her on this video I gasped!!! you're in such great care :')!!! you look amazing
ОтветитьJust started watching you a few weeks ago. Just saw a video of Dr. Shareen today. How about that.
ОтветитьGreat video of your great results and research ❣️. I’m almost 67 and I shudder when I see post menopausal women with those numerous deep wrinkles so with my frugal budget, I’m keeping my face moisturized and use retinol. Maybe someday I can see a dermatologist for tretinoin. I can’t worry about the folds though.
ОтветитьYou saw Dr Idriss? She seems terrific. Did you fly to NY specifically to see her? I appreciate your transparency about everything you have done. Everything looks great
ОтветитьYOU LOOK GREAT! I am 62 and just did WOW yesterday, ablative laser.....but called a WOW procedure....fingers crossed!
ОтветитьYour before and after pictures in the thumbnail have extremely different lighting. One has high contrast shadows and the other does not, and has a warmer light.… Maybe you could retake your after picture to be in the exact same lighting as your before picture? It would just make a better comparison, although I’m sure it won’t be as dramatic.… But it would be more authentic.
ОтветитьYou look awesome 👌 👏 👍🏾. Great content and video
ОтветитьThank you! I enjoyed this and it was so informative. I’ve just had my 2nd of 3 (package) Morpheus8 treatment. I will be having IPL and Botox when I heal up from my 3rd M8 treatment. I will want to do something for maintenance. They recommend a M8 yearly for maintenance. I am having mine done by an experienced aesthetician in my doctor’s office, ie good anesthesia by the Dr so no pain. Idk how people can do M8 with only pain gel for anesthesia!😳😳😳
I’ve had fillers 10-11 years ago (no more but the most judicious use of filler will I do any more) and did Botox/ Dysport and had the Pearl Fractional laser in my late 40’s and began using retin A/Tretinoin in my early to mid 40’s (I’m now 63). I kind of fell off of the Tretinoin train about 6-7 years ago because my post menopausal skin rebelled against it after all those years(!) of using it. I’ve tried it off and on since and my skin has become so sensitive and similar to yours have the redness which my Dermatologist calls rosacea (caused by sensitivity). She tells me to use the sandwich method and that hasn’t really helped. A few weeks before my first M8 (which is micro-needling w/ RF in case you didn’t know) one should discontinue “actives” for several weeks but about a week before I stopped the Tretinoin I did the sandwich method and I also mixed the Tretinoin with my Cereve nighttime moisturizer before applying and that seemed to not inflame my skin quite as much. I had the not so unexpected mild flaking rather than peeling like a snake. I however still was a bit red. When I’m through with M8 I think I’ll use less still and mix more moisturizer. I will have to ease back into it. Sorry this was so long ! Yikes!
PS I’ve never heard about filler in the earlobes before! That is BRILLIANT! I’ve been distressed about my droopy and deflated earlobes for several years-seemed to have happened overnight!
My jowls are the most bothersome to me. You mentioned a permanent filler in your jaw line and I’m wondering what it was? And you look amazing btw!
ОтветитьHave you tried Sculptra.lm loving the results.and it’s not filler.
ОтветитьHey is that Dr shereen idriss behind that mask 🤪
ОтветитьYou are Gorge!!!
ОтветитьI appreciate that you are doing procedures that are not ghastly over the top! Your skin looks wonderful ! You are doing what makes you and your skin comfortable, healthy and not freakishly stretched ! You obviously have chosen the right skin care specialists .
ОтветитьIInter3esting journey! Thanks for sharing. I am considering having a co2 laser treatment and must admit the research is really 50/50 as to its effectiveness in wrinkle reduction. Anyways...what struck me was your admittance late in the video that you had scaring from this procedure - so much so that you needed to "repair" aspects of the treatment. Can you please explain this? I am in Australia and due to go to LA and then Mexico where I am contemplating having the laser treatment, so I find this all r3eally interesting. Thanks
Ответитьlooks like you had eye lift surgery.
I dont want fillers. Puffy faces on older people just looks like they have had alterations.
who is the attending physician at the Medical Center? And who would you most recommend? For the same procedure – the laser
ОтветитьWow! That is a journey, and I can’t even imagine what it cost. I would love to do some of what you mentioned but it is not in this chick’s budget. You look beautiful!
ОтветитьWho are your doctors! they all seem fantastic!
ОтветитьI’m saving my money for a facelift. It all adds up and filling here, Botox there, lasers, etc are so expensive 😢
ОтветитьLASER microneedling does decrease volume in your face.
ОтветитьHi. I am 54, and just starting my facial rejuvenation journey. I am researching everything to develop a plan at this point. I used to like my reflection in the mirror. Now, I don't even recognize "me". Out of all the content creators I've watched, you seem to be the most relatable. I don't understand these woman in their 20's who create this type of content. I only wish I had been as diligent at that age though.Anyway, I am so happy I found you, and look forward to following you on my journey.Your transformation is impressive, I must say! I only hope I see as much change as what you have achieved. Great job!
ОтветитьReally appreciate your contwnt
ОтветитьIt would really be a more honest comparison if the lighting and camera angle were the same in your facial comparison. Looking down and dark shadows make wrinkles and under eye hollows appear worse. This is a trick used by a lot of influencers and vendors online.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your experience. You look amazing ! You had a budget, that does not sound radical to me. You are very insightful and l look forward with the end result.
ОтветитьWhat was the cost of all of this? I just watched MaryEllen After 60 and she has aged backwards in the past 8 years through skin care, Retin-A and OmniLuxe...no Botox, fillers, or other in office treatments
ОтветитьNo wonder movie stars ,rich people look so good as they age. Money buys whatever the heart desires!
ОтветитьOMG u r beautiful
i have just started the
dr idriss 'major fade' regime since she included🇨🇦 on her "ship to" list
i feel like the focused effort
is a great plan hyperpig and redness and lines etc😢
(i m turning 70 this yr) i have an open mind and may undertake some of the
min invasive things in the
future glad i stumbled onto this vid and i was so
excited 2 see dr idriss ‼️
i feel i know her having zeroed in on her as my fav
utube dermatologist 😊
your description of her
approach is awesome
just what i hoped 2 hear from a patient ❤
i m gonna watch more of ur
videos (u inspire me so 😎)
Another great video! Quiet day at work today 😊
I seem to be in a research phase, but think I will stick to tweakments (didn’t know there was a book! I have it on order) until Ellacor becomes much more perfected 😊
you do look amazing - enjoy being on maintenance and holding 😀
I got Botox in the deep lines between my eyes and I couldn’t tell any difference! It was costly and very disappointing
Ответитьbut you DO NOT look 10 years younger than 57... you look OLDER than 57!!!
ОтветитьYour skin looks spectacular and your smile lights up the room.
We are living longer and feeling better why not do the best we can to look as good as we feel.❤👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Your skin and teeth look great.
ОтветитьI'm a 60 year old man with fair skin and lots of sun damage and brown spots, pre cancers and scars from acne and getting pre cancers frozen off at the veterans hospital. They don't care and won't treat you for cosmetics at the veterans hospital. I had two Fraxel Repair laser treatments at the VA but I realize that I need a ablative laser treatment "one and done" like you. How much did your ablative laser treatment cost when you had it done? Does the ablative laser help the acne scars? My doctor told me I look 70.
ОтветитьOh damn….you saw Dr Idriss?? I adore her YT channel!
You look great! I recently turned 57 myself.
I’ve stayed out of the sun almost completely (hate direct sunlight) and my skin has thanked me. Never done any procedures except once I got laser to get rid of a broken capillary on my chin (rosacea) and remove some skin tags.
I’m a skincare junkie now. My strong jawline has kept the jowls at bay and the fact I wear sunglasses more than anyone I know and have ALWAYS done this (mydriatic pupils and light colored eyes=light sensitivity) has kept the crows feet and under eye sags away as well because I’ve always protected my eyes.
I grew up in LA so I’m self conscious as hell. I’ll probably wind up back at the derm’s office when the wrinkles set in lol.
No other work done,,? Hmm,,,? I think that you've had more than you are telling us! You do look better than you did before, that is for sure. Keep up the great work and keep enjoying what you do and smiling! Thanks!
ОтветитьPdo threads or permanent threads? They’re different…
ОтветитьWould you recommend microneedling for deep wrinkles on sides of face when I smile? Spa recommends and also recommends threads.
I also have dark spots and tried BBL but didn’t do much. I have all devices you have and my journey started way too late. Just turned 60.
Your teeth and skin are gorgeous! You look great! 🎉
ОтветитьHi, did you do IlMakiage video? I just saw you trying their anti aging product on FB.
ОтветитьWish you would not use filters in your videos as it’s not needed
ОтветитьI found Sculptra to be the biggest waste of money. I got talked into it. didn't do a thing, except the pocket book. Don't ever let someone talk you into something you don't want, is my word of caution. And I agree, go to a plastic surgeon for these procedures. They really have a good eye for this. I've done the cheaper route and have always regretted it. I did my CO2 in 2019 too. Best bang for your buck.
