Illegal Truck Mods to Avoid!

All leads even from factory and using fog lights when there is no fog should be illegal... guys using to much lighting to see the road at night shouldn't even be on the road at all.. drivers using more than the 2 head lights to drive, should be ticketed because extra lighting is for off road only...

I had a cop tell me that if he wanted to be an a**hole that he can give me a ticket for my oil change reminder sticker in front corner of winshield. Or ANY license plate frame or cover. Even clear. NY

I got pulled over in Madison Wisconsin and the police officer told me he pulled me over because I didn't have license plate on my front bumper. I asked if I could get out and look and he said no, because he he didn't want to endanger me by stepping out of the car.
I got all Dell Griffin on him and said, "Well, I guess you'd know better than me because you won't let me go see for myself. Someone must have stolen it. Well, that rascal. He must have needed it more than me."
He then asked where I was going and I told him I was going to Walgreens to get some tampons for a lady in need. I got off with a verbal warning and when I got to Walgreens I checked and my plate was there on the front bumper.

In the state of New York my friend had headers on a Chevy pickup and got pulled over for too much noise and a village and also for having the license plate zip tied to the bumper because you didn't have any license plate screws who thought he could zip tied to the bumper and the Yuma ticket for zip tie into license plate not having it properly fashioned onto the vehicle

Where can I get that plate cover?

Carolina squat, too wide of a stance which encroaches onto more than one lane (only haulers can do this with a caution wide load warning visible), train horns used in city limits above a certain decibel, gun racks (except in open carry states), stereo systems that disturb the peace ( or technically if a cop can hear it in their car with windows closed they can pull you over and cite you but gotta be a dick cop or a dick stereo one..), external siren, white brake lights (in some states) and using light bars or spot lights as brake lights (in most states they call it a driving hazard for other motorists if you blind people every time you hit the brakes..), exterior panel deletes (in some states no shirt no shoes no service like no hood no doors no drivey). Weirdest reason I've been "pulled over" was parking between two semis on a rest area off-ramp while I was making my way across the country with my boat. The officer cited me for parking on the off-ramp and also for not having DOT numbers on my truck, despite the fact that I was towing my own boat. After he cited me, I saw him walk the entire length of the off-ramp and cite every semi parked. He was definitely a "respect my authority" type officer.

The fastest traffic stop I ever had was because I had a tinted plate cover. First time I was asked to step out of the car to look at it. In My mind I thought I was getting arrested. Cop handed me a paper with the law code and was gone before I touched my door handle

Strangest thing I ever got pulled over for in my truck was having my high beams on at 1am coming home from work on a Tuesday “night” (going into Wednesday morning), mind you I live in a semi rural area with little to no traffic during to day time as it is , so yeah , stiff neck and clinched fist were at an all time high that day
