I’m not a fan of kvas so I like okroshka with kefir+water or with carbonated water🥛🙌🏻 My husband likes the one with kefir the most☺️

ОтветитьWonderful cooking vicra xxx
ОтветитьI’m very thankful I have a European store right down the road, and they sell dairy products as well as other Russian/Ukraine bits and bobs. And I absolutely love it there. One day, if the world ever calms down, I wish to go.
ОтветитьAny fellow Американский looking to make this: use bologna it is almost identical to "doctor's sausage".
Ответить❤🎉
ОтветитьI like this video. And I like how everything is so crisp sounding
ОтветитьGood job one of the best and simple explanation.
ОтветитьAt first it reminded me of the Olivie salad. I think I would eat this with kefir
ОтветитьI've never seen it with Kvas!! Wow. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьI'm from Russia. In okroshka, either kvass or kefir should not be mixed!
ОтветитьI'm going to try it. We can get doktorskaya sausage and kefir in UK.
ОтветитьThat sausage is probably similar to what we call Bologna (pronounced Boh-loh-nie-ah). There are several versions of this. Most are made of beef… but you can also find it made with a blend of beef and pork. And you may find it in “vegan meat” form. And as far as size… they’re either hotdog or “wiener”, or in a big fat sausage (like the one in the video.) You can buy that “big sausage” either as is or get it as deli meat, already (thinly) sliced.
Kvass reminds me a bit of kombucha or “pickle juice”. 😉
I think I may try the version with kefir.
What does kvas taste like? Is it like a cola or root beer?
ОтветитьThis is fantastic, thank you so much for sharing your
recipes with us!
Looks delicious 🤤
ОтветитьThis actually looks good
Ответить...your sausage is close to a meat called bologna..............
ОтветитьI see you are a great Mother. Now I am hungry for Russian food. I need to go to sleep and stay away from the kitchen.
ОтветитьYummy
