Moriya Rapaport Shapiro was raised in Shilo by her father, the famed tour guide Era, and talented mother Orit. After founding and building the community and developing the Tel, the family is now redeeming land by planting trees and growing assorted berries, grapes, cherries and vegetables. Meet pioneers whose devotion to the Am, Torah and Land is second to none. As we begin the harvest season of first fruits and celebrate the holiday of Shavuot, the Rapoports symbolize the connection to our past and the future by incessant investment in the present.
