Towel Shelf With Wood Lamination

This simple towel shelf will go in a changing room of a sauna building that was newly renovated. The torsion box design is not so much for strength. I used it to get the material thickness I wanted. It also makes the construction lighter and more stable compared to solid wood.

The chipboard was free material, and I had to work around using varying thicknesses. With a torsion box design the construction could probably be made from much thinner material.
