This game flew under the radar and is an absolute gem. Wish it got more marketing so I found it sooner.

Just a note mate - It's pronounced "Ock-Ums" razor. It's actually named after a philosophy that in a nut shell represents that "The most simple and likely solution to any given problem is generally the correct one."

Seems like literally all of these got big, big nerfs. Legendary "effects" are pretty rubbish for the most part now. Great video though, still helpful for finding them.

The best build I have ever run is with Bestia Tabat and the Spear of Achilles. It's definitely a late game investment since it requires a good amount of skill points and resources but it is really powerful and can wipe out half the enemy backline (anyone who doesn't have a shield or high armor) or even the entire enemy backline and more if you have strong supporting characters.

Required weapons/gear for Bestia Tabat for the build:
-Spear of Achilles (main hand)
-Occum's Razor (off hand)
-Champion Plumata, Legendary/Unique version

Required skills for Bestia Tabat for the build:
-Spec fully into assassin skill tree
-Get points in "Born ready", "Bloodthirsty" in Duelist path. Maybe "Quick witted" passive in the duelist path too if you can
-Get "Tactical advance", "Clear path" passive, "Feint" in Brawler path. Maybe "Heavy Skirmisher" passive if you want to give him heavier gear and you can also replace Feint with "Reaper" if you want and can get enough points.

Gear stats to go for:
Crit chance, crit damage, focus maximum increase

What this build does:
This build for Bestia entirely centers around the Achilles spear passive to give "Reaper" as a passive during the first round. Taking "Reaper" as an additional skill simply allows for way more long term killing potential, where as just taking "Feint" instead still gives Bestia insane killing power during his first turn. So once Bestia gets his turn, scope out the enemy backline, pretty much any enemy without a shield/low armor, and activate "Tactical advance" to avoid attacks of opportunity and get movement boost. If enemy backline is too far but clustered somewhat closely together or closely in a group, use "Marathon" from assassin skill tree to run across the map to position behind enemies. Then activate "cheap shot" for 100% crit chance and use "sneak attack" skill, which does 100% damage on Bestia's first 2 turns, which means you can spam use these two abilities in conjunction to go on a killing spree during Bestia's 1st and 2nd turn.

Once you kill your first enemy, keep spamming "tactical advance", "cheap shot", and "sneak attack" in that order and going around murdering everyone you can that doesn't have a shield. Going after groups of enemies clustered relatively close together is key, because with the "Reaper" effect it gives you your movement/skill usage back after every kill, so keeping the kill chain going is most important. This becomes even more broken if you combo it right with supporting characters like a Saggitarius with "Assist" skill or Triarus with "Inspire" skill to keep it going longer.

Only enemies with shields can survive the amount of damage this build can put out, which is why you target the backline.

I'm wondering if you can miss unlocking some playable characters? I started wondering when I ran into a random encounter chapter 2 that gave me an extra non story character.

I don't see any unlockable characters lists online.

Looks like Eurytus bow is nerfed and now its "the first killing shot with an Interrupt attack will not end the stance, allowing one more Interrupt attack per round"

How did you earn so much Denarii? I don't have enough Denarii for Ancile from lack of completing the legion missions that trade experience for gold.

You missed the spear you get after you execute the man on the boat talk to the gladiator after and he will give it to you

Damn, I brute forced my way through the game without paying mind to the tactics. Don't get me wrong, I loved the story and the game, but now I feel I need to play it again to immerse myself into the strategy aspect.

Can you make status effects guide. Some skills say " grants ..... effect " but it doesn't give info about that effect.

Achilles' Spear is my favourite. In my opinion, it is the most powerful legendary in the game because of Reaper(for the first 2 turns of combat even more if you are lucky). Most effective classes that can use this effect are: veles or sagitarius(as charm). Love the +2 movement (too bad that the shield Ancile who has the +2 movement is bugged atm). I have finished encounters, pacifications or special missions in 1 turn in all acts(on insane difficulty) just because of this 1 item. PS: To my knowledge you haven't missed any legendaries.
