Access Virus TI2 - FACTORY PATCHES: ROM H

anyone know how to reset this thing to original factory patches? Bought one used

I’m amazed at how many quality presets come standard now on synths like the Virus. It makes creating songs a faster process even though I like to start with a blank patch to learn how it all works.

Yes, I recognize many of those sounds from when I owned a Virus Snow.

I did not like it (I mean the patches, not the video). Too much "unplayable" sounds.

Can Nord wave compete with this keyboard?

I find it weird that I enjoy more listening to you making noise than listening to music.

Strange thing is that listening to this gives me more understanding of Enos ambientwork.

Eu in realitate ma uitam la un ti2 desktop, cum am inteles (citind in net) e "unicul" synth care e dotat de o "scheda audio", si care poti sa-l folosesti si ca o unitate audio esterna (daca nu ma isel) pentru mine ar fi minutat,findca am de ghind sa o schimb pe a mea. Ca sunete?....., sunt si intersante,.. mie i-mi place mai mult sa ma joc la basuri,nu am posibilitate sa-l incerc, si nustiu ce poate sa scoata, in tube putin info la argumrent Mai vad, ori cun nu e urgent.

Din pacate la nivel de VA, eu nu recomand altceva dintr-o multitudine de motive.. Dar pentru cunoscatori si un Nord Lead este misto.. Din cele mai vechi sunt multe cum ar fi AN1x.. dar... Daca vrei poly-analog, Andromeda e king.. Daca vrei mono analog Moog LP.. poate chiar BassStation ll sau MS20 mini.

Virus TI nu e Vst. Faptul ca are un vst pt control in DAW e altceva, dar el e la fel de sintetizator hardware ca orice alt VA Synth de la Novation Waldorf Roland sau mai stiu eu ce. Ca suna mai bine sau mai prost e altceva, . Am avut 3 pana acum si intr-adevar nu sunt innebunit dupa el ca si generator de sunet, mi se pare cam puturos si moale cu oscilatori cam slabi, dar restul e smecherie, ca si modalitati de sinteza... un fel de love/hate relantionship :)

@guitarharpsichord Virus it is an aggressive synth. You have to tweak it to get good sounds of it.

plenty of sounds though many dont seem very playable ...more like sound fX's...would like to combine some of these less aggressive sounds with the Prophet08 ..or create some patches like these ...I have heard that the Virus patches are available on their website..so I will check it out...peace

@poldyfex Bine, orice sunet poate fi transformat prin sinteza. I deea este ca am rasfoit aseara peste 700 de sunete si nu cred ca mi-au placut mai mult de 6-7 si nu exagerez. Un synth care costa 2700 euro nu are voie sa produca atat de multe fxs-uri asemanatoare vst-urilor. Iar in privinta sintezei pe care o ofera, e altceva fata de clasicele VA-uri. Un fel de VST hardware ;)

@poldyfex Multumesc. Am ales la intamplare una dintre bancile ROM pentru acest video. La capatul catorva ore de testat o parte dintre sunetele lui, nu pot sa ma declar foarte multumit de el (nu e prima oara cand testez un Acces Virus ) si mai degraba as da 400 euro pe Omnisphere, care suna mult mai bine si macar e declarat VST pe fatza :P
