As good as they are, I'm almost sick of these Torcan fans. I have 3 sitting at my grandfather's in the basement. And I've trashed probably 4 or 5 in my day.

That fan is older than me. That fan came out when my parents was in college.

Those fans are hard to find these days.

3 year old video, but I was checking out your videos and noticed this near identical fan to what we have and still use at our cottage. Ours has a green chassis and was purchased in the early 1970's. Other than that I believe it is essentially identical, other than ours also has a fixed, older style (I believe) handle.


Ours is similarly out of balance, but I never got around to balancing it. I do remember planning to try to balance it when the fan was fairly new and I was around 7 years old. I made the mistake of mentioning my plan to my father. He was strongly against me altering it in any way...

I have one of these and they are great

I have one, and it runs perfectly. The only difference is the handle

I got mine from my grandparents. Surprisingly there really isn't much information about these fans. It works awesome! The definitely don't make things like they used to. Bought a big box fan a few years ago and it already stopped working. This thing has been going non stop for the past 50 years!

I just got one of these that was my grandparents. Now you have me worried that it is going to be a power eater!
