This is fascinating. All these plaques should be together in one place - Nigeria! So that they could be reconstituted into a museum. This is such an informative short video. Thanks for making it.

CAPACITY

Unlike Benin City
Capacity is not the name of a city
But is what you need to build a city
Capacitate yourself with the necessary capacity
And you can build your desired city
Even in the face of adversity
I salute the ancients of the ancient city
Whose capacity built Benin City
Benin City, the land of my ancestry
Benin City, the land of my nativity
Benin City, home sweet home to me
Cradle of ancient civilization, Benin City
Where the Oba is king truly
I recall in their first visits to Benin City
The white parties did marvel at the city
Because in building Benin City
Its ancients exhibited capacity
I don't crave for a city
I only crave for capacity
If I have capacity
I can build a city
Even in the face of adversity

We are the Children of Great Benin Empire.
We are the Owner of the Red Soil.
We are the Children of the Cradle of Black Civilization
Oba of Benin Kingdom is Our Father and God's Representative to Mankind on Earth to Us all.
We are the Children of UMOGUN Oza.
We are the Real Children Of Ogiso.
Ogidigan is Our Father and the Link between the Benins and Ancestors of Our Land.

Everything You see in Benin Kingdom was either won by Love or By Blood but never MONEY, because anything that can be bought has no real values.

The Ekpen No'Owa.
The OGidigan.
The Uku Akpolokpolo.
The UMOGUN Oza
The Head and Leader of all Edo Race which is, His Royal Majesty, Omo N'Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, Oba of Benin is priceless to Us. We will and shall continue to Love Our Dear and Respect Oba.

Oba of Benin is the Eminiminimini hope they know the meaning of that word, the UMOGUN is a living deity,

Oba gha tókpére...isèèè

The saddest part about the Kingdom of Benin is that they refused to engage in the selling of slaves. Yet centuries later many of the citizens of Benin were hauled off to the Americas as slaves.

These plaques are pages of the history books, if you will, of the Benin empire. Very similar to way the ancient Egyptians use to write their history. We hsve not even begun to appreciate the value of these plaques. These plaques are better in their natural environment: Nigeria where they can be appriciated not only as beautiful master pieces but also for their historical and anthropological value.

People get uplifted by their past that's why the hegemony has been at the forefront to distort and hide the Truth but the only good thing is that the real Truth has started being manifest in the Hearts

🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇧🇯🇧🇯🇧🇯👏🏾👏🏾My Primary Ancestry, with a few other West African Countries. I am IMMENSELY HAPPY that I hv found this information as it it DEEP, especially when they separate parent 1 and parent 2‼️It adds up to some stories I was told growing up. I am contemplating how I will return to Nigeria and Benin ASAP‼️We hv information that one of our Ancestors is from The Ebo Tribe, at least that is what the paper said. My daughters father amazingly has the same Ancestry, I hv found so many people that share my DNA, even 1 of my best friends turned out to be a distant cousin, and one of my professional acquaintance, we were close in that capacity, turned out as a distant cousin as well. OK, I will stop😂😂😂😂But I AM GRATEFUL

The next major slice of my DNA pie is from Begin and Togo, so I'm immediately intrigued again.
I'm also on the market for ways to impress adorkable curly-haired art nerds with infectious smiles, so even more intrigued by the title. 😌

I'm reminded of relief sculptures from the ancient playlist, so it's nice to see this again.
Doing the hand-torso movement was a bit of fun - definitely not natural. I'm reminded of my free-weight workouts and holding my arms in a similar fashion to work muscles. Maybe the artist had that in mind too - a power move.

I've actually seen a restaurant in Key West where money is wrapped all over the walls. I forget the story, but it wasn't the prettiest place, lol.
All told, I don't think I'll be investing in any mudfish, but I can appreciate the splendor suggested by this piece in its time.

The coral did not walk from Olokun, the Edo/ Binis were hard working people that strongly believed Divine Lord God, they were farmers, traders& also engaged in doing positive things that yield money. The empire very rich and one the then Obas who was a Priest before he became Oba cultivated the Coral beads from Olokun( middle) the sea, not just coral beads but also white pearls.

I am very proud, Edo/ Bini & also of my heritage, reflecting to when Divine Lord God appears twice & started with the kingdom( ie long, long before the few races with dark evils spirits chased out from sodiom & gomorrah.
