Sonic Forces me to like the game

Forces needs more Canon in graphics not the irl ones just some feeling in there and at least change sonic shoes when he in cage and when he breaks out he puts the og back on at least tell me why he the same or be like sonic prime and let sonic change his shoes and gloves for the setting

Other than the story forces is good with graphics and characters and voice acting and I guess the gameplay is mid

It's an amalgamation of everything fundamentally wrong with the boost formula. The on-rail level design, the useless enemies that are really just props to run through, the cheap deaths if you don't play the level EXACTLY how it was intended, the absence of any multilayer or more playable characters. Sonic Forces is proof that the boost formula was destined to implode eventually. The lack of polish and short run time was just kicking an already dead horse. If wasn't Forces, the next game would have killed it. It just wasn't sustainable enough

I am going to have to side with IGN on this one. The HuB worlds are pretty bad in Sonic Games. When they are mandatory. I don't care if they exist or not but when progression is tied to navigating them I get annoyed. If I am going to play a terrible game just let me play it.

People can say what they want about 06 and Rise of Lyric and I won’t argue with them (even if 06 has some good things about it, mainly on Shadow’s end) but I don’t think I’ve ever seen something come out of a franchise that embodies everything wrong with it like this game except 2017’s Justice League

I think it’d be interesting if sonic was broken out at the beginning, with the torture that he received while in captivity leaving him so emotionally unstable that he was in no condition to go save the day, causing him to get therapy, causing the others to hire the oc. Then, in the hub world idea you provided, the player could go over to the room where Sonic and his therapist are, and overhear their conversations, with the end of the game having a more timid, but a little bit more emotionally sane, sonic congratulate you on saving the day for him.

it’s very hard for me to get immersed. This was one of the few games I got immersed for. About 80% of the things brought up are just dumb and not a big deal. The other 20% is very valid cause this game is far from perfect. Why couldn’t you make the whole video relevant tho?
