Best mods:

Weapons (bows to be specific)

Pristine (Sharpshot/Powershot)
51% damage/35% Tear/47% Handling

Untested (Hunter/Striker)
51% damage/35% tear/35% fire

Drummer (War/Champion)
51% freeze/35% shock/35% corruption



Armor (elemental & best overall in total
numerical resistance value)

Insulated [25% each per copy; get multiple
copies via NG+. For optimal resistance,
find the highest variant of an armor (I
prefer Banuk Ice Hunter Master and
Carja Blazon Master for optimal stats;
60% freeze/fire resistance, respectively)
and go get the Adept version of it for an
additional mod slot.

Time to go from ultra hard frozen wilds to story mode just for the coil from out of the forge

Who needs weave mod if you have the shield weaver armor

Why do you use power shot instead of striker bow?

When you have god armour then your acc gets banned

B4 you do this, there is a perk to drop more resources from enemy. I suggest you get that first. after i had that, they drop 2 damn good modif in the first trial.

Good guide but very bad advice fro the modes placement.

do those mods drop randomly also outside of the Frozen Wilds lands? I found like 200 purple mods farming Thunderjaws etc. or so and none were close to those stats

UH on NG (first time play), not changing my setting no matter what.

the only reason why i try to farm the best mods is because i am so tired to clean my inventory up. i want to erase all the other mods that are not the bests

i was just googling for mods as in nexus-mods.. something like loot whole area instead of looting 10 minutes after you killed 5 mobs.

Untested coil: Hunters Three

Painted coil: Pigment collect

How you get multiple of the same mod? if I have to do story again and again to get more then don't see the point .
