I love this guys videos. They are really helpful and well done. Thank you.
Ответитьand obviously you are good at your Job ! people forget you don't get these skills overnight .
ОтветитьIf it’s been at least 2 years since the wall has been painted & dried in.
But you decide to re paint over with same paint colour, should you still back roll?
The reason why I’m re painting it again is because I had some wires pulled out from behind the wall because I’m getting a TV set up & had to paint over the Filler
Which was just a small section on the wall. However when I painted it over again with just a brush it has come of with a few marks & looks un even I did use sand paper before hand as well
Nice, but What about without a cornice or straight line, where wall meets ceiling. I normally end up getting some on the ceiling aswell and have to go back and forth😢
ОтветитьJUST USE A FUCKIN TAPE. VIDEO GUY HAS BEEN DOING THE SHIT FOR YEARS.

ОтветитьNice.
ОтветитьYou make it look so easy...
I've left it for my woman to do...
I could watch this all day. Ha ha. Truly beautiful
ОтветитьThe hardest part is having a steady hand, also holding your breath a little can help
ОтветитьDid you sand first ?
ОтветитьWhat about when the boundary between the wall and ceiling isn't actually straight but wonky and bumpy?? My cutting in skills on a nice straight boundary are good but when faced with a wonky one everything goes to shit! Any tips??
ОтветитьImportant question, when you cut in while overlapping the already rolled paint, does the paint look unmatched when it's dry in that overlapping area?
Sorry for my bad english
Even with taping the ceiling my lines aren't as straight as that, awesome.
ОтветитьHardest 👏
ОтветитьI could learn much better without that stupid annoying music playing the whole time but thanks for the tips
ОтветитьNow that's a pro.
ОтветитьShow me line
ОтветитьGreat skills, I often find that the edge of the cornice which meets the wall is not always of a neat finish. The moulding of the cornice itself is usually very well finished so because of this I tend to paint the bottom edge of the cornice the same color as the wall . It's a little more time consuming ( my OCD) but it leaves a well defined line.
ОтветитьThanks for the video and tips. It helped my quite a bit, especially first running the brush low . Thanks very much👍
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьMy hand is not that steady... 😂😂😂
ОтветитьSo you roll twice and cut once?
Ответитьthis is so wrong.... just use tapes. amateur work
Ответитьand mine looks like a blind retard did it
ОтветитьWell why didn't you cut it in before rolled it ??...best way and yes you can cut in but should do before rolled
ОтветитьUnreal. No WAY could I do that 😂
ОтветитьThe Taubmans paint I was using just wouldn't behave in the same way, it was thinner that the video. Not sure if I wasn't loading up my brush properly or the brush wasn't good enough.
ОтветитьSend me your address I’ll ship you a new brush. 🤥👍🏽
ОтветитьSo it seems like the order of operation is:
1. paint the first coat with a roller, leaving the cut areas untouched
2. Hit all the corners and tops / outlet areas
3. Second coat with rollers
Anything I’m missing please let me know I’m going to attempt to paint some rooms in my house (I don’t have to paint the ceilings or trim or anything)
Sweet but i do the cut in first around the whole room and then roll in the walls
ОтветитьI feel like my paint brushes never have enough paint on them to do this. Frustrating
ОтветитьThis is a real painter, if you hire a painter and see them start taping ceilings and crown, you did not hire a painter....
ОтветитьSerious skill right there 👏👏
ОтветитьThank you, wish me luck!!!!!!
ОтветитьThat looks neat! Next week I'll paint my kitchen and was a bit shy at this step. You made it look so easy to understand (others made rocket science out of it), can't wait to paint, thank you sir!
ОтветитьOH MY GOSH, awesome.... what a precision ..... I’ve tried 🤪🤪🤪 wasn’t the worse job but practice makes perfection...... I’ll keep practicing 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
ОтветитьYou got some skill man. At least to me you do 😅
ОтветитьHeel & Toe....
ОтветитьWhy u don't use tapes? It's easier!
ОтветитьDo you roll walls first and then cut in
ОтветитьI’d be gutted if I lost my cutting in brush....it’s a good 10 yr old
Ответитьdo you need to sand down a wall before painting?
ОтветитьFab im getting it mostly good still finding the corners a bit fiddly maybe a video on that , ? Great stuff
ОтветитьEasiest way to explain it is let the paint do the wrk not the brush
ОтветитьBrilliant work mate.
ОтветитьNice one - exactly the way I do it. Cheers
ОтветитьGreat tip! Thanks.
ОтветитьThat wall is tailor made for easy cut in. Even has a nice lip.
