Going from log to rec 709 I would typically use a utility LUT specific to the camera being used as there's often more happening when to going from log to 709 than just exposure levels, there are often color transforms too. But this grade still looks good anyway. Lot of ways to grill tofu I guess.

Thanks for this video. One question, does the skin tone line work for all skin colours? I’m having to edit videos that were filmed on phones of people from different parts of the world, and some of the white balance is very off. So can do I follow the same line when isolation darker skin? Thank you.
