Genius, I loved the example with the phone camera. Enjoyed this one so much, thank you as always, Daniel!
ОтветитьExtra awareness points to those who notice the caption error! (Annoyingly missed that in the editing, but hey....now we've got an awareness challenge)
ОтветитьDaniel. hope the holidays treating you well. thank you for all tour lucid dreaming content and teaching.
I'm sitting at 24 recorded lucid dreams currently. in about 100 journal entries
and. it use to be 1 or 2 a YEAR.
thank you. Just wokeup from one. hahaha
Daniel, I'm so glad I found your channel! Your perspective is incredibly interesting, and it makes you question and reflect on so many things we often overlook in our daily lives. Sending a big hug and greetings from Argentina!
ОтветитьNice information you provide here, I did meditation for a while, as you gave advice for scene shifting, which is a problem. but my mind is a bit more clean. my focus is also more trained.
I watch your old video about WILD (I know you don't call it that)
I want to practice this entrance to dream. I find hallucinations quite scary
nice evening
Plot twist: Daniel’s videos are twaddle and all the others are real.
ОтветитьThis lesson is always hard to fully understand due to it totally flipping the way I've been taught to perceive the world. Dreams have always been "somewhere else" or "later", which doesn't help with lucidty. It's still a bit hard to unravel and/or correct that notion with the one that dreams are just a change in input, but it's true! I think since I (used to) view dreams as a form of escapism, it's going to take a bit of time and repetition to get the lesson through my thick skull, but it is very much appreciated.
Great video and while I would comment more, I don't really have more to say besides the video took me 3 watch throughs in order to fully grasp the concept (hopefully I did!) For members, this video came out on Thanksgiving so I was traveling, but happy belated Thanksgiving everyone!
P.S. - finally got a notebook that feels like a dream jounal! Here's to hoping that I actually start doing it!
Life can not be a lucid dream because right now we are not aware we are in a dream
ОтветитьDaniel, when I do IMP technique but can't fall asleep what to do?
ОтветитьI thought about this the other day
ОтветитьYour a genius I was lucid while awake how did you know this is your best video by far
ОтветитьWhat if we are in a matrix and Daniel is the one running it, and the reason why he is making this video is to recruit new matrix agents?
ОтветитьAnother great video and worth watching a few times to let it sink in.
But also the real question is… how far can you take it? Things that you considered twaddle a few years ago may just be the new upper limits. And yes, I’m looking at you Dream Healing. 😉
(You should have followed thru with that Strange but True channel idea you had awhile back)
After three months, I achieved lucidity four times thanks to your book Are You Dreaming and your videos. Although I have yet to find success with MILDs, I’ve noticed that my dreams are more vivid and that I’m actively thinking while dreaming. However, I haven’t been able to recognize this during the dream itself, which means I’ve failed to perform a reality test. That said, I’ve had success with your CTB technique. Thank you, Daniel!
ОтветитьExcellent video!!
ОтветитьI think I remember you saying that it's usually ideal to avoid using an alarm, and that if you're going to use one then a slow building soundtrack is better, and I'm not quite sure if a slow building brightness alarm would work the same or impact dream recall negatively. I was also wondering if a cup of ginger tea in the morning a long time before bed would still have an effect on the next nights dream recall, because I remember you mentioned before bed or before a morning nap, but how would it work a long time before bed?
ОтветитьI loved this video, Daniel. Brilliantly written. I felt a little fear at the thought of life being a lucid dream. If I'm dreaming when I'm awake, and I'm dreaming when I'm asleep, then maybe I might wake to an entire different reality and have no idea who I am. But I guess that's just fear imagining what it might be like to go mad. I see it as more proof that we don't really exist as a separate self, and what we always have as a constant anchor is the awareness. There's a feeling of safety in that. Your merch looks very cool, btw. As do the sleep masks. I might just get one. I usually place a sock or a pair or underpants (clean, of course) over my eyes when I need to add more darkness to my naps. Not kidding! 🤣
ОтветитьOne time I dreamed that my two crushes and their friend came over to my house. I felt it was too good to be true so I pinched myself and it didn’t hurt. I knew that I was dreaming and could wake up any second now that I knew so now I decided to act as crazy as possible. I started jumping on the couch and not long after that I woke up.

ОтветитьThere’s a bear 🐻 with you? Be careful 👍🏻
It’s a real
Dream
Hello daniel....i have been following you since 2021 and your videos have greatly benefited me in acquiring the skill of lucid dreaming....i really wanna read your book ' Are you dreaming ' but the price here in india is too expensive as compared to a price of any other normal book and as a student it's difficult for me to spend this amount of money (₹2334😢)..I know it is not possible for you to lower the price to a very less amount ... but for a middle class person it's a huge amount for a book.... If the book would be around ₹500-₹700 then it will be easier to purchase...i hope you will do something regarding this .. anyways i wish good luck for you in the journey of lucidity..✨😊
ОтветитьNice video. 👽🥚
ОтветитьOne of the best lucid dreaming teaching videos ever!!! Respect!!!
ОтветитьI often dream about lucid dreaming, but these aren’t actual lucid dreams—they're just dreams about lucid dreaming. Sometimes, when I try WILD (Wake-Induced Lucid Dreaming), I briefly enter a lucid dream state but quickly lose awareness, and the dream becomes non-lucid. Other times, after performing WILD, I realize I’m dreaming and have multiple lucid dreams in one night.
I feel like I go through hypnagogic states and transition between dreams, but I can’t achieve full lucidity. Even when I do manage to get lucid, I either wake up quickly or lose lucidity again.
What can I do to improve? How can I stay fully lucid for longer and avoid waking up too soon? Also, is there a way to strengthen my awareness during the hypnagogic phase and make the transition into a lucid dream smoother? Guys help me with this
Are slow building brightness alarms dream recall friendly?
ОтветитьIt's funny how I now know that yes, this is all just a very solid and carefully controlled dream: The mechanics are the same, only difference is this reality is much more dense and has stricter rules governing events. Main question for me is when it stops, how to stop it, and what the implications of it are.
ОтветитьIf it is, then I’d like to wake up, please.
ОтветитьWatching this while writing my dream journal
ОтветитьI wanna share a experience. Recently I was lucid. And I decided to know the reason why I was not able to fully control my dreams. Mainly why can't I teleport to a desired location. I searched for a suitable dream character I asked my elder brother for help but he was not interested and his wife was forcing him toh help me out. So I thought maybe it's better to ask my brother's wife. She said: the reason you can't lucid dream. Is cuz the way you live. You promise yourself a lot about discipline and bettering your life but never take action you eat junk food. Don't exercise don't dream journal regularly and sometimes not even lucid dreams . So change that first. Then you will be a different person confident enough to accept and expect change 😂😂. Do you think it was of any significance
ОтветитьGreat video as always
Ответить"When I hear you give your reasons," Watson remarked, "the thing always appears to me to be so ridiculously simple that I could easily do it myself, though at each successive instance of your reasoning, I am baffled until you explain your process. And yet I believe that my eyes are as good as yours."
"Quite so," [Sherlock] answered, lighting a cigarette, and throwing himself down into an armchair. "You see, but you do not observe. The distinction is clear. For example, you have frequently seen the steps which lead up from the hall to this room."
"Frequently."
"How often?"
"Well, some hundreds of times."
"Then how many are there?"
"How many? I don't know."
"Quite so! You have not observed. And yet you have seen. That is just my point. Now, I know that there are seventeen steps, because I have both seen and observed."
" Long dream appears to be real "
