Super Mario 64 looks good

When you grab an object, the object isn't actually in your hands, it's invisible and not in its normal state. The object is in a state known as being "in limbo". When Mario picks up an object by punching (as opposed to diving or water grabbing), there is a two-frame window of time in which the object is not placed into limbo, yet Mario has committed to picking up the object. At the end of this window, Mario will hold the object slot that this object is in, even if the original object has since unloaded.

The hardlock is due to Not enough slots to load all the moneybags and coins.

If you didn't know when a console HARDLOCKS it's impossible to use any buttons even the power or reset button to fix the problem this usually happens when the CPU crashes and requires unplugging the console
