How To Get Your First 1000 Streams On Spotify!

Hey just a thought... my understanding is that "you" or the spotify account associated with your artist identity does not count towards your analytics. Even if it does spotify might penalise you for that like they do if you're getting played on a bot centric playlist/scam etc. Just my 2 bits cool video thanks for all the cool content and inspiration.

Algorithmic play listing is definitely the best approach, a few caveats though, for release radar you need to have a good save rate, a good listen through rate and a decent popularity score. Not sure if you saw but Spotify just released a new feature they are rolling out which is inbuilt pre-save (Countdowns) which will be great going forward!

On a similar note as this one, I would love a video on how to get fans / followers. That has been the difficult part for me as of lately. I am currently getting a few thousand streams per month on Spotify but my follower count is still <25 and it hasn't grown in months despite getting a lot more streams after a recent label release. So that is the hurdle I'm currently trying to get past!

About paid promotion, isn't it worth it only for to get the algorithm started? Then if its "good" it will have higher chance for get organic boost?
Also definitely going to check PML's course, seems like it can give a lot of solid answers to some stuff that are not clear to me personally
