If you only put one wheel lock on, they'll leave it for last and bend it out. Put two on, opposite from each other.

The would be wheel thefts will first smell their fingers, (you know that's human nature) the next thing is vigorously attempt cleaning the disgusting glass impregnated special sauce from fingers which makes for cut fingers .
