Friends can still share it and this doesn't disable the button

I'm not sure what's going on. I followed the instructions - it doesn't work. I am aware the public posts can be shared. I didn't do this - only my friends can see it.

So the only way to make it so your friends can share your post is to put the setting from friends to public?

the first way changed it to message. The 2nd way absoutely yhose pages do NOT FLOW the way you said. Is this an old freaking video??? Facebook sucks when it comes to helping

Wont work! You cannot turn off sharing your posts by friends but only for public! This button is only for public posts! And this is like violating my privacy to share my posts without even to notify me!

Neither of these methods removes the share button. Even the first method you showed, when you posted the ❤️❤️❤️ comment still had the share button there. 🤦‍♀️😡
