i am also first time year homeschooling my pre k kid this year and we are using scholastic work books from walmart and putting together our own curriculum weekly ❤ i really was so happy to see the work books and what they helped with. wish i saw more homeschool mommas use this!

Everything you shared is so great! I agree that you don’t need a curriculum, you can just put things together. Brain quest is a favorite for us.

We used many similar resources including puzzles, flashcards, matching cards, etc.. We frequented the library weekly. We enjoyed the Meet the Letters, Meet the Sight Words, and Meet the Phonics series by Preschool Prep. Our main focus during the preschool years was to play. We read a lot.
