A good vector copy like this is really rare...

I have done quite a bit of tracing with the bezier tool, but I noticed you made way more nodes than I do. Once I have them, I can change the node type based on the behavior needed for when I tweak them to be more precise. You really only need one on each end of a straight line, and for most curves no more than three. That way you have fewer to edit, and you get a much better mind for how bezeirs work and the geometry of curves. You can always add a node where needed if you cannot get lines to be accurate, and if you are going to blow it up in print, the larger it is, the more inaccuracies stand out. Who doesn't want their logo or artwork on a billboard some day?

I knew what a vector file was when I had to submit plans for my addition on the house. I had no idea what it took to create them.
Now I find myself needing svg files. I have many personal images I want to transfer via engraving. I'm pretty sure you just solved my conundrum! Thank you, so much!

I've done this a few times now and it doesn't seem to become a "true" vector file once saved. I tried saving as .svg as well as .eps. When I send the file to a printing company (for logos on eg. clothes) they tell me I don't have true vector files, just vector-converted .png files. How do I create a true vector file?

When I open an .svg-file I've created in Inkscape (in the folder "Select file to open" I can still see the resolution (in pixels) on my .svg-file. That shouldn't be the case if it was a true vector file, right? How do I solve this?

Low resolution raster graphics, I've found out recently, before converting them to a vector graphic, I recommend to run them through the AI trained upscalers, like UltraSharp or Remacri (it depends on the content. But the AI upscalers add for the half transparent areas too much black shades.

Brilliant video, but my only problem, how to save my svg at it's smallest size possible? My limit is 15k but even reducing the amount of colours used to the minimum, my file size is still way over budget.

Holding shift while pressing x is not getting rid of the draw lines. More often than not, it gets rid of the color I filled that space in with.
