Talent + hard work > hard work alone > talent alone

I think everyone is talented in something, training hard for something without talent simply means you are not in the right category. Sadly enough, schools don’t motivate people to find their talent.
The argument that if someone likes something to train hard for is stupid, the only reason people do that is because they keep chasing a goal thats never met. If people find their talent and train for it they will instantly feel more content with it because it comes naturally.

I feel this is where DBZ genes start coming into play. We are at a point where we know how to make better people but it is truly becoming a divide in who is subjectively better than their peers. As a music educator, I see that some students just understand the concepts I teach them. Some people have a knack for understanding HOW. But in the end if they don't apply themselves, the student that has to try harder can, and will pass the student that doesn't try but has the knack for it. Lads, please don't let this video demotivate you. Having talent is great and gives you a great boost but almost always hard work will beat talent. You might have to put in extra effort but every extra second will count, it will make you more comfortable with the technique at the least.
