Folks, when you use a torrent program to download a file, you are exposing your IP address to whoever is at the other end of your connection.

Our host recommends that you use a VPN service for torrenting. That serves little to no purpose.
The VPN service will hide your activity from your internet service provider, and nothing else.

Consider the following:
If you use a VPN service and log in to facebook, then facebook knows who you are.

I try to use a vpn when downloading the actual torrent files, but when I try to use utorrent, the torrents would not download so I always end up downloading the torrent without vpns.
