Oh my God, that cleaning tip was terrible advice. Never (and I mean EVER) clean a nonstick utensil right after you use it. It destroys the non-stick layering no matter how "dishwasher safe" it claims to be. Always let them cool down first and then wash them with some warm soapy water.

Can relate, our first air fryer was a cheap piece of trash that stopped working after about a month.
As for adjustments, yeah, for our unit the formula seems to be (oven temp) - (50 degrees) cook for half listed time plus three minutes.
Another thing about using spray cans (especially for multiple batches back to back) is that when (cold) spray oil hits hot rim it can bake on to the basket or discolor it. Not the end of the world, but can be annoying.
