I also don’t understand it that my grandpa fought both wars and against the Nazis so this must mean Trudeau is on that side still fighting Russia. What is he promoting or selling as farmers that feed people are being regulated while we attempt to dismantle Russia. Russia is not even mad yet but that will happen before they loose any war. I’ll have to give American Congress credit for not having Zelensky speak to them. Under Pelosi there could have been a fiasco like what happened in Canadian Parliament. Furthermore there are actually members of Congress who oppose the Ukraine Proxy War. Can’t say the same for Canadian Parliament.

It might sound a tad bold, but I'd like to speak on behalf of all the nations that fought in WWII and witnessed the horrors unleashed by the Nazis in Europe. The scars they left are still with us, and it's something we can never forget.

What happened in our parliament is just plain wrong. It's disheartening and honestly shocking to witness someone with such a dark history being welcomed like that, and we only get apologies as a response, well, not even that.

Even Zelensky, being Jewish, has remained silent in the face of this offense to his people. Does his silence suggest he's okay with the humiliation Canada faced? Is he okay with having greeted a Nazi?

Our politicians are busy pointing fingers at each other, but what we really need are actions that restore our confidence that the Nazi threat won't resurface to menace the world once more.
